Full House
Hi all,
The time has come to release my first set of Starburst chips back into the wild. Now I know what all those 'jeez - I hate to let these go' comments feel like in the For Sale threads. But... they're not getting any use so off they go to hopefully a better home.
Asking $500 (plus shipping) for the entire set which is below my average purchase price. Chip condition varies (see below) but all stand on edge and have been lovingly cleaned and oiled. A custom acrylic starburst dealer button and 15 custom hybrid ceramic starburst bounty chips are also available to purchase separately. Perfectly willing to split the set if everything is accounted for. Onto the pr0n... individual rack prices below.
Since the Starbursts are obviously non-denominational, there are a couple of ways you can use this set.
Cash...
T5 Tourney...
T25 Tourney (although you might have to get a little creative with starting stacks to make this work for a full table)...
Individual rack prices - prices do not include shipping.
(Sky?) Blues - $115/rack: Gorgeous color in very good condition. Certainly not mint but very gently used, all hot stamps in good condition, no overstamps, perhaps a bit of cross-hatching left on the rim. If I was going to keep one rack for myself this would be the one. They're at the perfectly-broken-in-shuffle-like-butter-but-still-feel-new stage.
Whites - $70/rack: Good but not great. Hot stamps are showing a little wear and one side of all chips have a 'B' Stamp. But, they're clean, still stand on edge and are in no way bicycle tires.
Reds - $70/rack: Good but perhaps ever so slightly more worn than the whites. Similar aging to the hot stamps and same 'B' stamp on one side.
Forest Greens: $130/rack: Excellent and nearly mint. Very sharp edges, cross-hatching on the rim, all hot stamps in excellent condition, no overstamps. The only thing that I would say keeping these from perfect is some slight color variation on the edges.
Charcoal: $115/rack: Half of them are in excellent condition - half are very good. Seems like there were a couple of different barrels combined to make this rack when I purchased them. The very good ones have some very slight aging to the hotstamps and a couple are overstamps. The excellent ones are nearly as good as the forest greens.
Dealer button and 15 bounty chips: $25 for button, $15 for bounties. All in brand new condition - never played.
Edit: Lowered price and made DB and bounties a la carte.
