This is a wish list and interest only thread. There is no promise or commitment to buy or sell anything in this thread.

I must have a screw loose, because I'm back at it with Danny again. This time we're talking about his Stardust Mansion Tourney chips and the rest of his cash chips. This would be THE LAST of the SPM from the original seller.

So, have a little fun with your posts and put together your wish list. While you aren't committing to a purchase you should sincere about what you want.

These prices are going to be retail. Danny wasn't interested in discounting this set as much as his other group buys.

When putting your wish lists together, be sure to include weather it is an all-or-nothing deal. Otherwise, I'll assume you'll take whatever is available.

Things to know:

1. I must see enough interest to cover all of the chips.
2. Payments will need to be money order or cashier's checks. I'm not interested in having PayPal take a cut.
3. I will take PM offers for the WHOLE lot from serious bidders. ~8000 chips
4. There are 500 quarters from the CPC group buy included
5. There are only 100 $25 in this whole lot. They are NOT going to be sold unless they are part of a big purchase.

I'd love 1 barrel of each tourney denom, and I would distribute them as 19 sample sets to interested parties, keeping a sample set for myself.

I don't need any more cash chips -- but if you get close to selling everything but need a few last racks purchased, I could take some more $1s and $5s, depending on "retail".

Maybe $15,000 transactions are the norm around here. But as a relative newb to this community, I'm excited to see if this goes down.

I wouldn't say they're the norm, but they happen. Most of them probably via direct message or retail order vs. public classifieds.

They are going between $1.50 - $4.00 per chip, depending on the denomination and rarity. The $1s and $5 are at the low end of that range. The $25s, $1000s, and most of the tourney chips, are at the mid-to-high end of that range.

With this set containing a lot of the super rare tourney/cash chips, I could see the entire set valued at well over $16,000.

Kinda depends on what's in the set -- mostly $1s and $5s, or hardly any of these. Also, would likely fetch a higher price if parted out than if sold to a single buyer, but we'll see.

Agreed. $1,000 for 100 chips seems insane to me. I get it in small quantities (5-10 to fill out racks, etc.), but overall, this pricing seems off.

Like you said, if this is real market rate, I may have to join you in offloading some... especially if the market is really bearing 5-8x purchase price.
