I had some labels for a set printed from Sticker Mule and the wrong size was printed (6/8" instead of 7/8").

They don't offer full refunds so I'm going to re-order and to get rid of these unusable labels and share them with anyone who might be interested in checking out Sticker Mule labels with some faux shaped-inlay labels - it'd be a great way to demo them (thickness/quality/etc.) if you're considering trying Sticker mule for labeling chips. I'm going to end up pretty happy with them after this little hiccup.

I'm asking $3 - this will cover CONUS shipping and help me recoup costs from the printing error. I'll trim a sheet to fit a random sample into an envelope - no promises on specific denoms.

This is one of several full sheets I'll be trimming for anyone who wants a sample.

I'd take a sheet. Just read your post on the overlabeling but wanted to see for myself.
How did you find removing the labels after application?
Came off pretty easily, left just a little residue. I milled the chips and these fit nicely into the recess.

@dmoney If I may ask, was the error partially your fault in some way? Because I'm not sure I would want to do business with a company that sent me a different size than I ordered, then didn't make it 100% right afterwards. As a potential customer, this is concerning to me.

Ultimately, yes it was my fault as I approved the order.

At some point during our fairly lengthy back and forth, they said the labels would be 3/4" and I must have missed that point in the thread. Unfortunately, that's not the sort of error you'd notice in proofing, either. The art, layout, and quantities were fine on the sheet, but the size was off.

Now, why 3/4" was even a suggestion when the title of our email thread is literally "22mm or 7/8" round labels" is beyond me. But I should have caught it, and I didn't.

I should also note that off-center labels do not appear to be an issue with Sticker Mule. I used Onlinelabels for another overlabel project and it was a minor issue.

Hold on, lemme get a pic and I'll show you what I mean.

Where is that tape measure.....

Anyone else want some from the last few sheets? I may also have some extra from the re-order coming in a normal 7/8" size.

So StickerMule only makes one thickness for their stickers? I find that as an over-label it gives me significant spinning. On a milled chip it takes two to make it flush with the recess. Gear labels can have many different thicknesses be flush with the recess, right? Has anyone ever experimented with a thin plastic piece on top of a sticker label to make it really similar/the same as an original inlay?
