Anyone have any ideas ? I know most have dedicated cabinets or builtins for tables. I’m getting ready to list the house and am trying to find a good way to protect it during the move. My 3800 Apache case is way too shallow to use, and most of the other harbor freight cases I believe would also be to shallow.

Any suggestions for packing other than the original cardboard box it came in would be appreciated.

I carry mine around as is no problems whatsoever. Just any cardbox box should do the trick.

Are they fragile or something?

You could always use mycasebuilder.com to design a custom foam case for it.

A Nanuk 918 fits a Shuffletech very well. I had chips in the case prior to the shuffler, so the pluck foam isn’t fit right on my case.

For reference, I have nosy, uncoordinated kiddos and everything lives in the basement with a concrete floor. I feel better having mine a little more protected

Awesome ! I’ll look into ordering one of those cases!

I have the same situation with my little kiddos and even with the 12 year old who uses the space more than I do it seems lol

As a portable solution can the shuffletech be ran out of the Nanuk 918 or would it have to be taken out to prevent heating issues or whatnot? I have no experience with these but seems like a good upgrade.

Thought is to have it mounted to the nanuk itself like how they bring around the nuclear launch football package.

For obvious reasons I can't mount it at the University desks otherwise I would.

I would think it would have heating issues. I have mine mounted on a cabinet with a battery inside. The inside feels a bit warm after a 5 hour session. Not sure if that's the shuffler or the battery though.

If you plucked the foam to the right size to secure the shuffletech, I would be very concerned about overheating. I can clear the battery of any culpability @Tonystark137. The side table it sits on during our session is definitely warm after a game, and I use the DC plug when I run it.

Maybe if the pluck foam was looser, like mine, you could get away without damaging the shuffler. But it's not a risk I would want to take, personally.
