Our mostly-tournament poker group has decided to test the micro-stakes cash game waters, so I'm looking to add a 5c chip to the 20th Century set.

Will need at least a rack (preferably two) of mint/near-mint Paulson THC mold (preferably leaded) that will be relabeled as nickels.

Existing chips in the set are 3d14 and 4d14 spots, so highest priority is for chips with those patterns that will match up well with the current pastel cali color scheme (pink quarters, blue $1s, yellow $5s, black $20s, white $100s). A 314 or 414 spot pattern might work too, but definitely not interested in using solids.

First impression was that grey, green, or purple would probably work best, but interested in any and all suggestions. I'll post some pics of the existing chips this afternoon.

Thanks!

No Red?

I was thinking Ramada $5s because of its 3D14 spots and the fact it's hot stamped and can be milled. Condition is just like you stated.

Would need to be a pretty dark red, being in play with the pink quarters. Got a pic of the Ramada's?

I'll take a pic for you in a bit. I'll do it by the Casa Pink $5s (218 though) so you have an idea of the shade of Red. Your Casas should provide an even better contrast because of the bright spots on them.

Good suggestion, had not considered those. Also, already sold the two racks I once had.. . :(
Well that can be easily rectified. It’s 4d14 but the pca $25 might work too. Although I happen to know you sold a bunch of those too  :ROFLMAO:

First impression was that grey, green

I like the light green/sherbet green colors myself

Red wouldn't necessarily be my first choice for the nickels, but it would depend on how important the spots are for me.

Yeah, would be better if the two green shades swapped positions. (y)

True, but wouldn't that make chip too close to your $1? Maybe the darker green give you more contrast.

Which pink chips are you using for quarters? And you know pics make everything better around here! Primary PCA $25s would fit well, are there any mint racks around? Empress secondary $5s are also a dark enough red for contrast.

The 3D18 PCA spots work great but then you have 3 consecutive chips with a “yellow” spot.

I prefer the Casablanca chip. The pastel base colors works better with the others IMO
