Tourney T200,000 blind schedule help (2 Viewers)

I am thinking about doing my first 2 table tourney next weekend. I am thinking about 200,000 starting stacks with a 1 rebuy period and maybe add ons. My starting stacks will be 25Kx4, 5Kx16, 1Kx20. I would like the tourney to last about 4.5 hours.

Here's one I scratched out using a 20 minute blind schedule. It has no increases above 50% until round 12, when it goes up 67%. With 20 players (I'm assuming 10 to a table -- I'd adjust this if its fewer per table), this should end within 1 round of round 14 (4:20-4:40 mark). You didn't tell us how many per table or how long the blinds would be, so I had to make assumptions on that.

Problem with Tex's structure above is that the OP isn't using any T500 chips, so L2 presents a problem.....


Here's what I recommend, given the conditions listed in the OP:

20 players, T200K stacks (20/16/4)
20-minute blind levels (100BB stacks)
All increases (except L2) are 33-50%.

Easy solution. Reduce the length of the blinds.

That is my go-to solution when adjusting for length... just makes more sense to me than making up strange levels like 18,000/36,000.

15 minute blinds, you'll hit 150K/300K at 4:15 of straight play. 10 minute breaks at color ups and you're golden.
