Hi Friends,

I hope all is well. I was hoping to leverage PCF's knowledge on table toppers/tables before I commit to either circle toppers or rectangular toppers.

We play at the local University. There are two types of rooms that we can choose from to accommodate 40~80 people:

Round Table Room (Prefer we stay in this one but there's an issue with the round tables)

Round tables are 60". There are two Jumbotrons and multiple projectors at each white board to display the blinds/tournament details. With that being said, there are microphones (MXA310AL Microflex Advance Table array microphone Aluminum) permanently affixed onto each of the circular desks that make fitting a circular topper very difficult (the speaker is 5.5" diameter but the feet only cover only cover a 3.3" x 3.3"). If I were to get one , I would have to some how cut the neoprene to fit around the top speaker. My question is whether the solution is as easy as cutting an octagon (or some other polygon) around the circle? Or are there better shapes to 'cut' that would result in less ugly outcomes? I'd like to get it as close to the 3.3" x 3.3" as possible but can't figure out how to slot the larger 5.5" speaker into the opening (even with a slit). Alternatively I could possibly get two 'half circles' and only cut one half of the other half circle into a horshoe-shape to make it work.

Seats up to 106.

Rectangle Table Room
There are projectors and multiple 23.819" x 33.6" desks, that we can rearrange either as:
a) 1x4 for a 96" x 34" table accommodating 9+dealer
b) 1x3 for a 72" x 34" table for 8
c) 2x2 64" x 48" table for 8

My question would be which one (or combination) of the above would be ideal? A combination could work too (for example (a) for final table and the remaining tables using option (b) or option (c). No jumbotron in this room though, so I'd like to explore all options with the circle topper / cutting before getting rectangular toppers.

This room seats up to 90 I believe, possibly more (in picture is only a fraction of the room there are more area on the left outside of camera view).

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

For the rectangles, I'd recommend going with 72 x 34 and seating 8 players (one on each end and three per side). 96" is too long unless dealt by a competent dealer, and 48" is too wide for a poker table, imo.

For the circle tables, I'd explore a solution that has the topper covering the speaker completely, possibly by placing something under the topper that brings the resulting surrounding table surface up to flush with the top of the speaker (with an intact topper placed on top).

But given the relative simplicity of the rectangle solution, I'd go that route.

Quick followup, for transport purposes, are there PCF approved quivers or scroll holders or whatnot available for these toppers? I would think art supply stores would have scrolls but id have to see.

Would also be okay with a nanuk case to hold said scrollholders but it may have to be a long one.
