These were bought direct from Apachepokerchips.com. In my opinion, they are nicer than the other “Non-Apache” Taj Mahal Cards Mold chips due to having a more realistic “variable” edge spot design mimicking clay chips.

Only about 100 chips were felted a handful of times (mainly 25 thru 500 denominations) for family/4 to 5 person tournaments. The rest are like new (1,000+ chips) and have never been felted.

The 1,000 chip deluxe Versa case was only used to store chips in my closet, where it just sat. It is like new. Racks are like new condition as well.

Breakdown:

224 x 25¢
325 x $1
450 x $5
125 x $25
25 x $100
25 x $500
1 x 1,000 Chip Deluxe Versa Case (like new)
12 x Acrylic Racks (Made in China)

Total Price: $500 SHIPPED within CONUS (add $25 if shipped 1,000+ miles from Tampa, FL)
$440 SHIPPED without case

Payment Methods: PayPal Friends & Family, Zelle

About 8-9 months ago, i'm at the Taj it's late and I see @LiveCashGuy walk in. And he goes and he sits three hundred six hundred, and the whole place stops. After a while there wasn't a craps game going because all the high-rollers are over there watching. and some of them were sitting there playing, but they're giving their money away to this guy saying "oh, i played with the world champion".

Sorry @lewan, I don’t remember.

I have these but they are too nice to put into play lol
I think you have missed the point of chipping. Speaking strictly from the heart. I’ve owned many chips, sold some regrettably, but I felted everything I’ve owned. You gotta enjoy them bro!

If staring at them is your thing, well, then you’re doing it right I suppose.

IMHO though, you have missed out on tasting the true nectar of chipping, dibsing (or the like), and then finally forking over the dough to get them in the first place. You GOTTA get them in PLAY, watch good friends and company use them. It gives me goosebumps, to be honest. From Jack Detroit tourney set (had $30 chips in play) to AST stamps set (felted 3 times myself before selling), I’ve tasted the sweetness!

I went through a sales blitz 2 years back, and I’ve got a few Paulson sets left over, but EVERY chip I got is DESTINED for felt! No ifs ands or buts.

If storage of chips makes you happy, then sobeit. I just don’t get the mentality behind that.

@Jeevansluck generally I agree with you. But these chips conceptually become collectors items at some point.

It’s no different than any hobby, like comic books or Pokemon cards. They were meant to be read or played with, but then super nerds are willing to spend $100k+ on them, suddenly you don’t want to devalue the asset.

Can’t go out and play with a ball signed by Babe Ruth.
