That does make a lot of sense. Use the pre-sale to recoup a decent chunk of his intial investment. Use eBay now to gauge the true value of the rest of the high denomination chips before his main sale. He doesn't want to sell them all on eBay, the fees are too high. But it will give him a good idea where to price them going forward.

Possible.. but what if there is NO main sale??? At least for the higher Denoms. We don't have a chip count so we really don't know.

There will be a main sale for sure. The $1,$5, $25, $100 chips weren't all sold in the pre sale. But seeing how many big value chips Tommy has and that were sold to Apche and in the pre sale, there may not be many of those left. So he is wanting to maximize his $$$ for what he has left of those chips. Of course this is all speculation.

it will be interesting to see final prices comparing the four to each other, eBay has always been a great source of market price due to the sheer volume of buyers

Don't know the exact number he got but there were 407,000 chips.

It really is a pretty rare occupancy, I don't want to say unprecedented because I've only been part of this community for 6 months or less but it is SO interesting to see the economics of chips at work!!
