Terrible's error chip? (1 Viewer)

I've seen this available for a long time. I'm just interested to know if this is an error chip. Those 5s do not have a blue spot. Anybody has info? Not interested in buying...

My guess is piss poor scan or altered. The white spot even has a bluish tinge to it as well as the background. But some how the inlay is miraculously unaltered.........makes me think altered.

I could be wrong though. Seems like I've seen some upper denoms that looked different in a similar manner on eBay before as well

On some of the pictures of my 5s they appear to have blue spots as well.

Yeah, this is my guess as well. Likely unintentional.

Looks like uncorrected fluorescent white balance. The green tinge gives it away.

Here's the same photo after some quick white balance correction in Lightroom...

This is what an error chip looks like, no scanner issue. Actually the pink spot is on one side only. Looks pretty cool.
