Wanted Terrible's LaGrange SECONDARIES (1 Viewer)

<sigh> OK.

I'm finally folding under the Terrible peer pressure that is the TCF forums, I mean, PCF forums.

It is with no small degree of shame that I am looking to expand my Terrible's LaGrange SECONDARY set. I'll consider any reasonable offers/possibilities, but I'm first and foremost looking for the following chips in new uncirculated condition:

$0.50 - I'd like to get a rack, but with absolutely no offense intended toward Mike's current eBay auction, I don't want to spend $150. I also don't want to bother with 50¢ chips if I can't find at least a rack of $1 chips.

$1 - I'd like to get at least one rack.

$100 - I'd like to get 5 chips bare minimum, 85 if possible to make a rack.

$500 - I'd like to get a barrel. I will shortly have a barrel of $500 LaGrange PRIMARY chips, and would consider using those in a trade.​

Welcome to the Terrible's club . I use primary 500's from LaGrange as my St Jo 500's after I relabeled them. Unfortunately no secondaries. Good luck with your addiction I mean search

Thanks for the replies, guys. I really appreciate it. No luck yet on finding the secondary LaGranges that I was hoping to add. Maybe one day...

Frankly, I just don't get the point of the re-labeling thing. That's just COUNTERFEITING. I mean, why bother with buying any *real* Terrible's chips at all, when you could just buy a bunch of relatively inexpensive blanks and put Terrible's stickers on them?

What I *really* don't get, though, is re-labeling LaGranges as St. Jo's. That's just CANNIBALISM!

I'd sooner put together a "mixed set" of LaGrange and St. Jo primaries and secondaries than re-label.

Frankly, I just don't get the point of the re-labeling thing. That's just COUNTERFEITING. I mean, why bother with buying any *real* Terrible's chips at all, when you could just buy a bunch of relatively inexpensive blanks and put Terrible's stickers on them?

I think we relabel Paulson chips rather then inexpensive chips because we want all the chips to be RHC mold so they match the rest of the set. There is no 1k or 5k chip so we really had no choice but to relabel another RHC casino chip to create those ones. With regards to relabeling LaGrange as St Jo's I made the mistake of selling my St Jo 500s back to Tommy and realizing I needed more then what I kept I wanted to keep the theme of an orange 500 and some LaGrange became available at a decent price so I jumped on them being I could get enough of them for my needs. Personally my OCD will not allow me to have a mixed casino set when I have the means to make them match (already had 500 St Jo labels from way earlier when I had no real 500's and was thinking I'd have to find some random chip to label as a 500) so I had no choice but to relabel them as St Jo's. I know its weird but that's just how it is for me .

1) Again, buy ALL inexpensive chips, re-label them, and they'll all have your favorite Terrible's logo, and they'll all match!

2) There were no 25k or 1m chips either, so where are THOSE re-label jobs??? Sheesh, if there truly was no REAL Terrible's 1k or 5k chip made, then don't you think that's the way the poker chip gods intended it to be? Why would you even want something that was never there in the first place?

3) See points 1) and 2). Your OCD should abhor the creation of 1k and 5k chips that never were, and it should cringe knowing deep down inside that the re-labeled chips in fact do NOT match under their phony and superficial exterior. Psh! And you call yourself OCD?!
