so after starting this quest over 3 years ago I finally have a playable tourney set of Terrible's St Joseph. Huge thanks to @slisk250 for helping me gather the last rack of 100's, and another couple racks of 25's. This casino is an hour away from me and the chips went up for sale before I was into chipping so the higher denoms have been a real PITA to find. These are scheduled to hit the felt on the 24th of next month. Plan on having @Gear help out with relabeling the 1000's and 5000's, for now some fancy printouts and sharpie skilz will have to so now.

here they are
@slisk250 care package that arrived today

I know some of you guys enjoy the hunt..........HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO IT SET AFTER SET!!!!!

Hopefully some day I can add another barrel or barrel and a half of 500's to fully complete the set, but at least for now it is playable.

Thanks for Looking

They look great! The high denoms are definitely hard to come by. Here's my journey to a single rack of hundreds:

November 23, 2012 - 39 chips purchased from The Chip Room
December 16, 2012 - 40 chips purchased from eBay
February 3, 2015 - 1 chip purchased via PCF
July 8th, 2015 - 20 chips purchased via PCF

Only took 2 and a half years, but I got there eventually.

Yeah I know. Until today I only had 50. It's crazy. I have almost bought several 800 and 1000 piece cash set just to get the higher demons from them.

To the best of looking through old receipts I started in March 2013

Congrats on getting the set completed (minus the labels lol).

Looking forward to seeing it once you have the labels on. Gear does great work!

Also just an idea but if you are applying your own labels and want to make the chips go further. Maybe you should make the 1k's a 2k chip instead and the 5k chip a 10k chip. That would really increase your bank significantly. Just a thought :)

I would think about it but I think I would need many more 500's for that work, and finding those are like trying to find a Sasquatch in Kansas.

the hunt was fun before prices when through the roof:confused:.. Now much harder unless you are selling you are selling your chips. :whistling:

Well done.(y)

Congratz for the quest,
Colors combo is one of my favorites !

It's interesting how we chose very similar chips for our Terrible's relabels. I use the Gambler's Pleasure/Climbing 500 fantasy chips for 1000s too. I have the Gambler's 50s for a 5000 but now I'm trying to get another chip to label in it's spot. They look great Aaron.

We sure do. I wanted to use the horseshoe cinci $2 for the $1000 but they were just too dark with the hundos.

I think I saw a comment in one of your threads about your other chip you might be using, which is funny because I looked at it as well and got a couple of them for this purpose back in Feb when i was in vegas (if my hunch is right). But these 5K's are close to me and we can't have all of our relabels the same, that would just be weird:cautious:, but I just need to get more, bad part is they are $2.50 vs $1. ;)

Fantastic set, Rowdy! I don't know how you chippers can end up with a tourney set of Terrible's! Different league!

Well done with the perseverance. I hope you find some more 500s to complete it.
