What I have to trade is a leaded THC Casino de Isthmus City (CDI) red, shaped inlay $10 grail chip. The history and rarity of this Paulson limited custom movie chip run speaks for itself.

What I want in exchange for this rare chip is a good number of $1,000 '98 CDIs (at least a barrel but probably more if you want to be in the running to complete a trade). I will also consider offers for '98 CDI 50 cent fracs and/or a mixture of both of those chips. If you have something else you think will lead me to 1ks, or know of multi-party trade possibilities that end up with CDI98 1ks in my rack, I’m happy to get creative.

If you would like to own a very rare, instant centerpiece and conversation starter for your collection, instead of a few of the hundreds of CDI98 1ks you have tucked in your chip rack and rarely use, much less display and talk about, please PM me with your best trade offer. This is not an auction and this chip is not for sale. I reserve the right to trade to whomever, especially those CDI folks on PCF who have helped me on my journey so far. My poor photography skills do not do the chip justice. No one seems to know for sure, but I have been told there were probably no more than a few hundred of these chips made for the License to Kill movie production. The fact you probably have hundreds of CDI 1ks versus possibly never having even seen a decent photo of this chip, much less the chance to own one, tells you how rare they are in the wild as compared to what I am asking for. Thanks for your interest and good luck on your offer. TS

Well.... that us how it is done folks! Beautiful trade bait. I do know what they claimed the value of this chip was Pre-covid... now... well let's just say this is a very very fair trade!

Thanks Ben. Hope you get to see it in person too!

Auction that chip off !!
Buy all the mustard
Unfortunately the very few 98 CDI $1ks I had were sold years ago, that pic is probably the closest I will ever be to that chip! Haha

Road Trip to Texas before it is traded away!! Lol
You have an awesome collection of traders. Find somebody with 1ks that wants some of them and we can do a multiparty deal! It would look great alongside your rare $100 error chip.

Many years ago (like 2005ish) I saw a rack or close to a rack selling I think on eBay, so there are many out there, but hard to find, think last real chip I saw sold for about $50 or so.
GLWT!

I wish I could go back to ‘05 and buy some 1k’s too (or any number of Paulson fantasy chips)! Different world. Wish we were still in it.

To be fair, they were not selling them in the store in 2005 either, hence the JB98 but in 2005 you could buy the new paulson mold JB05 and the BCC were still available.
But, they were less expensive and available.

Unfortunately I doubt you'd be able to find one of these under $150 these days (sigh)

And much like 007, this chip is jet-setting off to an exotic, undisclosed destination. Thanks to all who expressed interest in this incredible chip and a special thanks to the trader who is getting a piece of cinematic history. Much appreciated!

TS.
