Here's the thread for pr0ns of all my chips.
*************************
1) DRAGONARAS
*************************
"Hic sunt dracones" is latin for "here be dragons", my table's signature.
It's also the title of another great darkjazz band, the Kililanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, their album might be listened to here.
This Dragonara set is the achievement of 7 years of patience. That's how long I had been looking for a playable amount of B&G chips. Dragonara are also the chips that got me into chipping for good.
After thousands and thousands of chips bought and sold, these remain my favorite, I'll never part with them. The hundos are perfect gold coins on the table, the 500 plaque is the best ever, not to mention the beloved oversized 500 white chips.
All the chips I own are in absolute new condition (except for fracs).

There's a smallish cash game set:
100 x 0,50
120 x 1
120 x 5
10 x 10 plaque
10 x 25 plaque
5 x 50 plaque
1 x large 500 golden plaque
And there's a good-sized tourney set:
320 x 25
320 x 100
120 x 500
25 x 100 plaque (used as the "1000" value once in a while)
10 x 500 jeton (used as the "5000" value once in a while - I know it's weird, but they would never ever see the felt otherwise)
What I'm looking for
I won't sell any but I'm still looking to buy a few:
- I'll buy any "LM1" chip as long as it's bright blue (99% of those 1 chips are greyish, only the chips in New condition have kept their shiny blue)
- Same with the "LM5", I'll buy any chip in new or mint condition, but I don't think there are any in circulation. Never seen other than mine in 10 years.

2) PINK PUSSYCATS
*****************************
Here's another set I loooove so much.
Those bright colors (hot pink, day green, arc yellow), this perfect hotstamp, the great condition: I don't know if it's good "only at the pink pussycat", but it sure is damn good.
According to my readings, those chips were used to buy drinks at this Reno strip-club, not to play cards with. I'm not sure it's right, but it would explain why most of them are mint / uncirculated.
Chips were manufactured in 1966. There was a first edition with a mistake: the dollar symbol had been forgotten. Chips were quickly retired, I only own a few.
My set has been a small heads-up for years and years. It took me 7 years to get almost one rack of them, and then I bought a large set.
Now it's perfect for me.

Breakdown:
$1 x 300
$2 x $100
$5 x $250
and change

3) LAS VEGAS MIXED SET
************************************
Here's my Las Vegas Mixed Set.
I was looking for "old school" casinos, with a great inlay showing the casino or its emblem.
I love this set even though it has flaws that will upset some of you: different molds, different manufacturers, different conditions…
Tropicanas are the only used chips. They're played as quarters. Most of my games don't need $25 chips but it would be too bad not to use them. They are the 1972 edition.
I love the fact that the Bourbon's edges unite the Trops' brown and the Nuggets' yellow.
Last but not least, the Horseshoes are jewels. The Arodie mold is perfectly soft and light. They're still looking sharp for 1961 chippies!
Moar pix here
Breakdown:
100 x $25 Tropicanas
200 x $1 Golden Nugget
200 x $5 Bourbon Street
20 x $25 Horseshoe
What I'm looking for:
- More Horseshoe arodie $25
- One mint Tropicana $25 rack
*********************************
4) CERCLE CONCORDE
*********************************
Those are B&G chips from the one of the many Parisian cardroom that were closed by the police in recent years. This Cercle shut its doors in 2007. Three years later, the same management opened, at the same place, the Cercle Cadet. It closed also, in 2013 – and yes, I've also got a set of Cadets
This cash game set has incredible colors, for every value, from the grey frac to the classy 200€ chip.
Other denoms exist but I don't own them: 4€ / 100€ / 500€.
Moar pix here
Breakdown:
100 x 0,50€
200 x 2€
100 x 5€ (not pictured)
100 x 10€
100 x 50€
60 x 200€
***********************************************************************************************
5) AVIATION CLUB DE FRANCE (ACF) - PAULSON TOURNAMENT SET
***********************************************************************************************
I had been hunting down ACF chips since the first day I stepped into this magnificient Circle back in 2000.
ACF's cash game set by B&G are the chips that pushed me into chipalcoolism for good.
In 2002, when France switched its currency from Francs to Euros, I tried to buy the chips, but couldn't succeed.
13 years later, in the summer of 2015, a friend and I won the auctions for all the ACF chips (except the main poker cash game chips, which was destroyed by the police).
Here are pix of the perfect tournament set by Paulson.
Those chips were used for high buy-in events, such as the WPT tourneys, whereas the ceramic tourney set was used in the regular tournaments.
Moar pix here
Breakdown:
100 x 5
100 x 25
200 x 100
100 x 500
200 x 1000
60 x 5000
40 x 10 000
20 x 25 000
[Sorry, but no, I don't have any of those to sell, not even a sample, not even a single chip ]

6) MGM GRAND
**********************
Here's my latest set, I've drooling over them for years and finally sold my Ambassador Plaza to get them.
I love them in every way, perfect inlay, perfect mold, the lion changing colors, the wonderful $3, $10 and $20 denoms...
Here goes the pix...
Moar pix here
Breakdown:
300 x $1
60 x $3
100 x $5
16 x $10
3 x $20
What I'm (desperately) looking for:
Any $3, $10 or $20 chip
Why not 20 more $5 (large inlay, not interested in the small one)
******************
7) TRK SETS
******************
I had been looking for TR Kings for a long time, and had the opportunity to get two sets almost simultaneously.
I sold my King's Crowns and kept the lovely "MDR" travel set.
MDR are not my initials, but it means "mort de rire", French for "LOL", so I'm good with it
I'll probably look for some other racks to stamp.
Moar pix here
Breakdown:
100 x white
100 x red
100 x dark blue (looks a bit shinier than dark blue but definitely darker than light blue)
What I'm looking for:
A few racks of good condition hotstamped TRKs, plain solids or with edges.
