Manufacturer: CPC, 39mm Scroll
Type: Cash
Designer: Me!

Hi everyone! I hope you enjoy my showcase thread. I’ve been looking forward to getting these chips for a few months (even before placing the order).
I’ve always been a creative person, and after joining this website, I started to crave some high quality poker chips. With my wedding coming up next May, I thought it would be a great gift to give myself a high quality poker chip set that I designed myself instead of something typical like a watch or something. The very first place I landed was CPC.
I started with the idea of having the color scheme match my wedding colors, dusty blue and sage green. I played around with other colors that may go with our wedding, but I finally landed on the classic Vegas progression, and chose yellow as the fraction color after consulting with my fiancée.
I next needed a theme. Why not something I love? My dogs! I also thought the name “doghouse” was funny since my fiancée and I have been watching love island. I started taking reference photos of my dogs and retraced them in illustrator to get vector versions of them. I consulted my stash of Vegas chips to get inspiration for text layout and other things.
Now onto the pictures! I’m not 100% sure if my photos do these chips the service they deserve, they look stunning in real life.
Quarter:
214, canary/butterscotch
I initially wanted to go with a quarter pie, but my fiancée talked me into doing something a bit more simplistic to match the others in the set.
Dollar:
2D14, light blue/blue/white
This is the first chip I finished and solidified the design for. I just love light blue as a color, and the edge spots are beautiful. I just love everything about this chip!!!
Five:
3D14, Mandarin red/maroon/DG tiger
This was one of the last chips I finished in the design process. I know a lot of chips on this site have multiple colors mixed together, but for some reason I couldn’t find a color combo that I really liked more than a different shade of the base color. I love the simplicity, and I love DG tiger. It was a toss up between that and DG peach.
Twenty five:
4D14, Light green/Green/DG green
I LOVE light green. It’s *chefs kiss*. Beautiful and matches with our wedding color so perfectly. It really makes this set feel like an homage to my wedding.
Hundred:
6D18, Black/DG peacock/Retro Lavender
I initially wanted to go with DG pink, but my fiancée said the pink was way too bright for the set and would stand out like a sore thumb. Who am I to disagree? I’m colorblind after all . I do think the lavender does really help dull it down and mix with the other chips better.
Show ‘em:
Majestic Star $1 overlabel
I have a bit of issue with late arrivals, so I wanted to create a chip that has a fun function that I would give to people who arrive on time to try and get more people to show up earlier.

Special thanks:
@David Spragg for the support, and a lovely company. Best of wishes to you in the future!
@Gear and @Wifey for the help with the show’em chip. A fantastic job on the labels and I’ll be reaching out shortly for my Apache case label.
And most importantly, my fiancée who will still marry me after finding out how much this costs.
