Can I get each of your interpretations of "Jim said he shipped 60 orders yesterday and most of them wouldn't have gotten the new chips"

Does that mean 60 orders shipped out and got what they ordered? As in, a lot of them didn't order new chips?
Or does it mean that 60 orders shipped out, and a lot that ordered new chips are getting used?

Happy for someone to correct me if I am wrong, but I think the clear implication of what he said is that 60 orders went out yesterday some of whom would have received new chips if the orders weren't screwed up, but most of whom would not have. Meaning that those new chips, but for the screw up, would have gone to buyers whose orders have not yet shipped.

I agree with that interpretation. However, what we don't know is how large those orders were or the quantities of new $2s and snappers ordered. So to imply that Jim's proposed fix will somehow leave people that ordered used chips high and dry is not based on fact, but conjecture.

He said he over sold all of the new $1's, $2's, and snappers. Nobody knows by how much though. Could be 100, could be 10,000.

I vote neither.

I prefer auctions that last for weeks. Maybe even months long.

But I don't even really like auctions. I post the opening bid right at the top end of FMV. Because F it - who really wants to see any bidding.

Some may question the point of an auction at max price lasting for weeks and weeks. I'm not sure. But I don't question it. I just follow the example of Eddie. He's always right. I'm just a dumbass socialist who hates democracy and should overthrow my government because of import duties. Easy F'ing peasy.
