Found The Grove Poker Room Bud Jones Chips - Everett, WA (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to put together a large set of The Grove Bud Jones chips. Most of my adult life has been spent in card rooms. I played full time for more than a decade, and this card room is where it all started for me. I learned how to deal there when I was 21, and put in several thousand hours on those tables, more as a player than as a dealer, but there are very few people in the world that have more time on those tables than me. I have so many great memories there. I got my first Royal Flush there in both Holdem and in Omaha. I also hit a bad bead jackpot there (flopped quad tens and lost to a runner runner straight flush wheel), though it was a small one (I got 7k). I also played my first hand of Omaha Hi-Lo there (which is probably now my favorite game to play). I also used to count these chips in the count room after close. I haven't been back to play cards in the Seattle area for several years now as I moved to CA and am currently in grad school, but I just recently became aware of the fact that these chips are on the market and that people have them in their possession.

I want these chips more than anyone you'll ever meet. I have so many fond memories of that place, and I prefer Bud Jones chips over Paulsons.

If you have any of these chips, this is your chance to relocate them to a good home, to a collector that will truly cherish them.

Hey Rainman, sorry but Eztrekker bought the last lot that I presented to you guys. However, I was talking to a friend at a game last Friday and I think we can round up a playable set for you. That way I wont have to sell you all mine and you can have a starter set that should still be playable depending on your blinds and buyin levels. Still looking for more Grove chips. Have secured some from a couple members, thanks guys. I still need a lot of the quarters and hundos. But will take any blues or oranges you're willing to let go of.

I love how well these things stack! Just stacked up 2 racks, and these aren't even straight. I bet you could go 300+ high with these with some attention to detail.
