Nothing wrong with that! I just really like the blue yellow combo.

The blue and yellow I like, actually love the blue on the chip, it's the red base that doesn't do it for me and drags everything else down. Throw in the inlay that's not tied into the theme at all and I just can't get past it. Like I say though I know it's my problem more than likely, I am horribly racist against red fives, I only like a few and they are the exception to my rule.

Now, the yellow in the spots as a cali 5 base with those blue spots....now we're talking. :D

Dunno what the area's rep is up where Krafty lives in MD, but having lived a mile away across the river in Alexandria, VA, for 25 years, chips bearing "Prince Georges County" are not something I'd want to see on the table at my home game.

Just imagine PNY chips bearing "Westchester County, NY" -- but worse. Much worse.

Kind of like inventing Crystal, CA so they didn't have to put Compton on the chips, maybe they should have just made up a name instead. :p

Lol...so true! Not surprised to hear a fight broke out on opening night.

While all you MD guys are reading this thread:

Have any of you read the DC/MD area-based poker novel "King of a Small World", and especially the sequel, "The Baltimore Truth" just published this September? Any opinions?

Haven't read either

I love the $5s and $20s. A non house mold and ugly inlays make these relabel-able at least.

I sold off 1000 or so CP's a few years ago owing to the hideous "label is the edge spot" mess.

If these chips were marked Compton, I'd probably still have them for that fact alone!!
