So last cash game at my place, one of my long time poker buddies has a good stare at a Paulson TH&C mold chip from his stack (National Casino Calgary) and says "what's the meaning of the thimble and needle"?

Of course, he's looking at the iconic hat and cane, lol. I suppose at least he's paying more attention to the little details. He recently upgraded from China clay pharaohs to BCC Capones chips I found him. He's slowly becoming a real chipper.

Just goes to show, if they never noticed the Hat and Cane, as if they would notice other things like RHC vs LCV vs SCV etc.

Why am I spending all this money? (n) :thumbsdown:

Back years ago right after ASM sold to Michael dambach and moved to Vegas I approached Michael about making some replica rounders chips for me. Prior to that you were not allowed to use the exact artwork per some agreement between Jim B. and the movie studio. Michael said yes and I was pumped. When I got the chips I told every one of my players to watch the movie Rounders that week. They all did. I bust out the chips along with some paper cash bundles. Several people ask me what's with the bears. Several people complement the paper cash bundles. No one noticed the chips when watching the movie.
