cut throat sport. is checo really doing that poor of a job? hes been instrumental in helping max win the last 2 championships.
I think Checo has done well but Max is Max & wants him gone I think.

As far as the 1st championship goes that was all Michael Massi. I don't recognize Max as a 2 time champ...at least for a couple weeks when he clinches this year's title lol

Didn’t know there was an F1 thread - sweet!

I was excited to see Daniel get a drive, although not sure the angle (outside of being a preview for Checo getting the boot). He’s second in points though, so I’m not sure why RB is unhappy with him. He’s had some bad qualifying, but overall pretty solid. Guess they just expect more with the car they’ve been able to put on the track.

I’d like to see HAAS get their engine issues resolved next week in Hungary, I kinda have a soft spot for them. They’ve been eating a shit sandwich for a while now - lol. Gunther needs a little break every once and awhile.

HUGE. Lets see how the race plays out. Im expecting more of the same TBH. Will be interesting since Checo is starting P9 and not all the way at the back of the grid. Im sure he will give some people a headache
Lando gets Max off the start (on the clean side) & I enjoy the first 5 laps with Lewis leading. Then the dreaded DRS is activated & the RB19 takes over? Max, Lewis & Fernando podium again? Hope Checo & Lando make it interesting...

Dunno what's worse: my prediction for the start of this race OR the Hungaroring's contract extension thru 2032
we all cant be right. some are better predictors than others....

I used to be a huge F1 fan (used to get up during night to follow the Australian GP, went several times in Spa Francorchamps and even Monza), but lost all my interest when the DRS appeared (just still followed the last season of Michael Schumacher). Now, I don't even watch the race results.

My fav' driver was Michel Schumacher and my favorite was (is) Ferrari. I was in Monza for the last victory of Schumacher at Monza. It was also the moment where he announced his retirement. Alonzo blew his engine just in front of us. I was a crazy atmosphere, going on the track right after the race ended.

Besides Michael, the driver I liked were Kimi Raikonnen, Felipe Massa, Jean Alesi and of course Senna (I remember my father was supporting him and I used to support the German when looking the races with my father :) ) and I could not follow a lot but discover all his exploits afterwards. I was a child but remember the exact moment when Senna had his accident. I remember my father directly understood it was the end.

One of the best qualifying lap ever imho, pushing that (terrible, especially compared to the Williams) Ferrari to its limits :

I still have goosebumps watching this video.

And he did the same in 2012 with a Mercedes which was just an average car back in the days.

Love F1. I'm still hopeful the FIA pulls their heads out of their collective exhaust pipes and stabilizes the sport a little. I enjoyed the new tire strat for quali the past 2 races. Looking like McLaren might actually be on a path to success again!

Also, didn't F1 say they were going to "try and bring back the engine noise" for next engine era?
