+1I hope Verstappen DNF's for the rest of the season
The only way for that to happen is if he suddenly became a driver for Ferrari.I hope Verstappen DNF's for the rest of the season
The sad part is I wasn't specific enough. Technically he could DNF for the rest of the season & STILL win his 2nd championship. (No I don't recognize his gifted 1st one)The only way for that to happen is if he suddenly became a driver for Ferrari.

No please fire away. I have no loyalties here, only disappointment.
Oh likewise, I was just going for humour I've always been a Ferrari fan and try to defend them, but boy they aren't making it easy on themselves latelyNo please fire away. I have no loyalties here, only disappointment.

Looks like Hamilton takes another one out, but claims no fault as usual…..
You're right it's not close:Not even close - how many guys has verstappen taken out of races vs Hamilton. Hamilton is and has always been a total POS - lol.
Hats off to Sainz though, he drove a hell of a race overall. Perez as well.
Was Verstappen even in F1 in 2014…..lol…? Thought he debuted in 2015….?
Number of penalty points was not the question. How many people has verstappen taken out of races vs Hamilton.
Lots of people get points, but they don’t end someone’s race in the process…..
You & I see things very differently. Not sure if you're new to F1 via Drive to Survive but I'm not. I've seen every one of Maxipads races & every one of Lewis's. Today's incident involving Hamilton was clearly his fault but historically speaking you are incorrect & have it flipped. I'll let you get the last word now because I know you can't resist!Yeah, I don’t really care about what happened in F2, F3 - lol.
My observation is Hamilton has a habit of taking others out to his benefit, more then any other driver…
Max is aggressive, won’t give an inch, and will push - yeah. But Hamilton will take someone out on a calculated risk if he thinks it will benefit him - 100%.
will somone not think of the trees. the whole premise of vegas is greed. lolFrom Nolan Dalla today:
"F1 Grand Prix Race Destroys the Las Vegas Strip
Right now, the Bellagio is chopping down the trees and destroying the shady park area on the sidewalk in front of the water fountains to make way for a car race and asshole-fest that lasts a day. Those trees were first planted 25 years ago. I know, because I was there for the night of the grand opening, in October 1998.
Today, they’re tearing out trees to make way for temporary grandstands for the rich fucks who will blow thousands of dollars on race tickets, money which goes straight to F1 — all of which flows out of Las Vegas.
Forty five trees will be sawed down to make way for a grotesque monstrosity that will be up for roughly a week.
So, let me get this straight: Not only are these shit bags blocking Strip access for months in advance with never-ending construction delays, creating massive traffic jams, and basically shutting out all the Las Vegas locals from enjoying the spectacle with nosebleed-priced tickets, they’re now ripping out the trees?
Just what Las Vegas needs….more cement. Unchecked corporate greed. Invaders raping the local landscape and disrupting life here, and leaving nothing but exhaust fumes and tire marks on the city.
FUCK THESE PEOPLE. Seriously, FUCK THEM."

So true. And city races -- even Monte Carlo -- have always been boring and uncompetitive, from a serious racing fan's perspective.
Did you see the video where Danny compares him to sid the sloth? Too funny. You & I see things very differently. Not sure if you're new to F1 via Drive to Survive but I'm not. I thought each race venue pays F1 a hosting fee (along with all infrastructure costs/investments although those do generate a lot of $ to local economy) & then said race ie Las Vega$ gets all the money from tickets, tourism, merchandise etc etc?money which goes straight to F1 — all of which flows out of Las Vegas.
LFG!Austin next year. Perhaps we can have a Texas F1/Poker Meet-up, drink beers & argue there.
Yeah, I read he did that. So at least he owned up to this one. I’ll give him that.Hey @Budha I don't want to start a holy war because believe it or not I love your passion for your driver. I admittedly don't watch much pre / post race stuff & have never seen DTS so earlier when you mentioned Lewis "claims no fault as usual" for his actions I assumed that was true. But was it?

I'm not going to Vega$ this year but I'm gonna try to make it to Austin next year. Perhaps we can have a Texas F1/Poker Meet-up, drink beers & argue there. Or not lol! As Sebastian Vettle once said "You can't change what happened. But you can still change what will happen."

And the regulations allowed great creativity. Think about the Chaparral 2J.While I appreciated (and enjoyed) the V10-era GP cars, nothing since has ever quite matched the thundering awesomeness of the big-block CAN-AM cars of the '70s. Insane.
I saw that. Don't think I'm gonna be able to swing those dates but I'm gonna try to make it happen anywayPlug for 3rd annual Velocity Invitational at Sonoma this November the weekend before Vegas F1. I’ll be there.
