Got some goodies sent home when I was in Finland and it was exciting to get back to open them yesterday! Got some more awesome TRKs and then some added extras from the same place that I did not know were coming with. Then a fun convention chip with a Finnish flag and then my first illegal chip and make that a RACK of them! Terrace Club $10 illegal casino chips from East St Louis, Illinois apparently from the 1940-50s, super happy with everything that I got. I also made a fun video talking about them and unboxing them if you'd like to check it out you can click here. Enjoy!

I think I have some of those red $5 spotted scrowns. Mine are used. Let me know if interested

The labels turned out fantastic! Different image on each side of the chip.

I’ve been working on this chip set for the better part of a year, and many people have contributed in one way or another. Thanks to @Quicksilver-75 , @Eloe2000 , @Josh Kifer , @BearMetal , @BarrieJ3 and of course @Gear ! And to those of you who I pestered for opinions while the finishing touches were made to the design.

Now I’ve got a little bit of work to do (in addition to finishing off my custom bounty chips and probably another cut card design). A new dealer button design is a given.

Congrats! These came out beautifully and the color matching is perfect.

Some white starbursts from @Spinettis Gaming just arrived

At first glance, I thought they might have been light gray chips because of all or the dirt built up on them. They cleaned up really nicely with oxyclean and a magic eraser though:

After comparing them with some HSI 1a chips that I have, I am pretty sure these chips are actually off-white instead of white, but they're beautiful regardless and will work well for my purpose (fracs for a solids set I'm building).

I'm 99% sure these are white. Off white appears almost greyish and it's almost unmistakeably not plain white. These have a brightness to them that off white just doesn't have.

Thanks for the info @jpietrella . I came to that conclusion after seeing this color difference:

But it sounds like it's just exceedingly difficult to return used white chips to their original color and comparing them to mint/new chips isn't a great way to gauge the color

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Not sure how you clean them but doing a quick couple minute soak in oxi-clean + blue dawn + scrubbing will work some wonders.

Just discovered this thread today. Want to shout out to @Tim Kutscher for hooking me up with a Garden City sample set and db all the way from Germany. I used to play there 15 years ago when I first got to the area.

Also shout out to @Tommy for the mouse pad, @Steppenwolf for the Arkham Casino db, @Thomacetti for the barrel of 500s that came all the way from Belgium in a surprisingly cool numis tube!

When you're not a singles collector but a personal grail chip of yours is hidden in a crappy eBay lot:

not surprised at the packaging job (the envelope was it)

I know it's just a grey 414 non-shaped inlay $1 chip but I've wanted anything from this actual casino for a while.
Same way I got one but that’s even better condition than mine. Great pick up! (/if you ever let go I could use a condition upgrade :D)

Nice pickup. I know I would pay more for the Treasure Bay $1 than the rest of that pile combined.
