Another one of historical interest to some of you that I designed with Michael Patton from Holdempokerchips. This would have been around 2008-2010 and featured the first large format inlay for home use since the Mardi Gras chips that @Johnny5 designed (from my poor recollection). Originally, we made these inlays to work on the T-Mold. The later set was featured on the web mold and had a standard size inlay.

An early mockup:

And the early set with standard size inlays on web mold:

Here's some of the original design mockups:

And one of the only pics I could find of the actual chips:

I have a sample set around here somewhere. I'll locate it and add it to the post.

Would you be willing to license the art out to somewhere wanted to reproduce it with a CPC order?
I'm not entirely sure how that would work, as the artwork was originally commissioned by Michael Patton. Is Holdem still in business?

I'll bet they've got some interesting stories! @Potsie1 would love to chat someday!
Would be happy to. Last year I worked with @Johnny5 as Michael Patton had been in the process of designing a ceramic set before his passing. He finished it last year but I havent done anything with it yet. Its unfortunate that CPC cant use the webmolds or id have done a Riverboat V3.

Awesome Chips!!

Werent these done on No-mold ceramics with a faux web mold recently that looked really great? I could be thinking of another design though

Love my set! Wish I had more and wish I had a cash set!

Yeah that kinda blows. But maybe some grace for a relative new member (Jan 2022) who had no idea about artwork rights etc etc. Not saying ignorance is an excuse necessarily but I could see how it could easily happen.
Hopefully he wont make any more. I'll contact him when I have a chance.

@imthatguy Thank you for contacting me. What you made has become a legendary and grail set on this forum. Saying it stood the test of time is an understatement. Job well done!

@imthatguy it's good to see you back! You can count me amongst the fans of your work. Did you have a hand in the color selection for the web mold chips, or was that all Michael? Did you obtain any samples of the web mold chips? I've always liked the tournament sets, and once I saw pics of the cash set I knew there was no way I could pass up a chance at owning some.

Just trying to say that I believe it’s more of an ignorant mistake as I been through the same thing thinking certain fantasy set is a casino set

Luckily for me, someone point that out to me before the chips went into production

You can’t expect new chipper to be as knowledgeable as an old timer
