The adventure comes in when my wife calls me to respond to a nearby Costco, where she found some theater seats we'd been looking at were nearly half off. I meet her there, but we find that these are end of season closeouts and they only have one left.
The rubs:
The only store with additional chairs is 1.5 hours away.
Retrieving the chairs will require both my and my wife's cars.
And, there's a winter weather advisory, icy roads, wind. Yuck.
So, we load up the kids for a road trip. The chairs are comfy, they're powered, and they even have power charging outlets in the armrests.
They will also be easier than our old couch to move around when I host 3-table tourneys.
Next on the upgrade list is a new bigger TV. Maybe next xmas.
