Thoughts on some new CPC designs (5 Viewers)

I happened to stumble on the notification that CPC was going to be ceasing operations next year. My set from ASM is now almost 19 years old. I'd like to add some new chips to my collection. Would like to get some thoughts. on my choices. Here is my original cash and tournament set.

I'd like to add a 25 cent chip to the cash game set.. These are my thoughts.

Partial to the butterscotch just not sure if it is too close to the yellow 5

Then I would like to also add a low denom single table tournament set simply to add some new colors and edge spots that weren't an option for me way back when. Here are my current thoughts

Not sure if you have any color samples but Back and Charcoal are very close in appearance in real life and it will be quite difficult to see the black edgespots if you go with that choice. Maybe a Grey edge spot instead of black?

What denoms are you thinking for your low denom STT? I personally like a T5 with a T20, T100 and T500. It plays exactly like your T25.

Played around a bit with your tournament set. Dayglo Saturn is a controversial color amongst many. It looks quite different in person. I switched Dayglo Yellow instead of it. I also played a bit with your spot progression to make it flow a bit better to my eyes.

the blue (if it's the 500 in a 5-25-100-500 progression) should be 8D18 to hit all of the spot patterns he wanted. works better for the progression too IMO, as there is already a DSA chip in the lineup. and maybe the 25 should be 18 spots too? but that sort of makes the 100 the odd man out.

or if it's supposed to be 1-5-25-100, then i would suggest:

Thanks for your input! I do not have samples currently. I was trying to avoid grey since there are already 2 chips with it in the cash set. Any thoughts on the butterscotch/chocolate in that set?

I was planning on going 1, 5, 25, 100 so it could double as a cash set in a pinch too. Light blue would be the 1 and then red, green, black. I have been seeing a lot about the dg Saturn and am fine with the dg yellow there. It's funny I don't live the dg tiger when it is in the split like that

I was aware he uses 8D18. I have one in my tournament set but I like the 6DSA18 better and I think it flows better in his set. It's his set obviously, I was just showing options.

i was playing around with your combos and really like this chip, just don't know how it would fit in.

maybe if you used the trimoon for the low value chip and did all the spots in multiples of 3:

I like all of these with the exception of the light blue. I love the dark blue, dg peacock but not crazy about the blue with them. Maybe a 3ds there and a 3d18 or a 318314 on the 5

yeah it can be hard to fit a trimoon into a spot progression. i did it in my tournament set (click on my profile pic) but i did the trimoon as a tribute to another chip i used to have, and to be honest i kind of forced it to fit.

So rather than trying to add some chips to my existing set I decided an entirely different set was the way to go. Going on this direction. The canary 214 will be non denominational and serve as a fractional in cash games and bounty chip and whatever else. The rest will be 1-500.

The only thing I am really torn on is the 100. I love the color scheme just not sure about the spots. The 618 is probably my favorite but the 614 is good. I have asked CPC if the 6ds16 can be done in the same pattern or not. I can't do it in the tool . Plus, a third double split chip seems like too much. I also like that the 614 isn't two 618 chips back to back. I love the green 614 as it is so I don't think I want to change that at all
