Tiger Claw Set - Win via Las Vegas Roulette Spin! (3 Viewers)

Do I hafta think if everything?

You're in Vegas multiple days, right? Big Spin is on Saturday for $150. Friday is a $20 satellite into the Big Spin (1 Big Spin number awarded for every 8 satellite entries).

If raffulls were allowed, that's how I'd do it.
I just did a google. I don’t have any clue what this is  :ROFLMAO:

I’m just speedrunning final projects, chips, etc. as we start to pack everything up.

Worst possible news. Like 1 out of every 2 homes the better half sends me, doesn’t have room for displays for all the customs samples.

So I don’t think I need to announce it, but just for transparency and resolution, closing this up.

But…don’t be sad! Being given a second chance to keep these, I’m hoping for some @JeepologyOffroad magic and @alecnetwoodworks magicks to create something fantastical.
Would be interested to see what you come up with from @alecnetwoodworks - GL!

Considering doing something along the same lines, like what @Jacks done in terms of a custom Tiger box:

Yeah, it might be a whole other fever dream of mine. I’m fearful of the price tag.

But if there’s a chance it could be done, I think it would be the most beautiful box done yet…..

At some point will make the way back to the strip for a single roulette roll. Have $420 cash for @quintooo and my cash bet (100% unintentionally, that just happened to be what’s in my pocket).

I’ll post the result just so we can see who would’ve won.

The free entry numbers btw were 0, 3, and 33.

To be transparent and just in case a chipping friend chose those numbers, to avoid possible looks of impropriety, I had written and printed out notes beforehand with timestamped live television in the background and had photos for each number.

I really appreciate the amount of effort you put into trying to make this happen, please @ me if you try again =)

Just wait until my 2041 meetup.

it’s 2.7% planned so far.

We’ve run into some issues around the rfid and human test subjects rejecting the injections.

We could do this with my unique but much cheaper limit set… but there’s only like 4 or 5 limit players on the forum these days so it likely fail too
So I didn’t think this one was too convoluted or difficult, other than trying to toe the legality line and having to host information elsewhere.

The idea I did have that WAS difficult and would never happen, but was working through logistics with some people offline was this:

  • 38 chipping friends go to Vegas.
  • Each person “brings” a set to the table.
  • We easily decide on values for each set, just normal friend to friend prices.
  • Let’s pretend the total value for 38 sets was $114,000. Every chipper pays $3k entry, and each chipper gets their sets cut. So I get 5k for my tigers, you get 3k for this, someone gets 2k for their DJs, someone gets 1800 for CPS, etc.
  • We have a host provide a roulette table in a suite (I looked at this, but couldn’t find feasibility), or more likely get a private area on the floor with a table, food, etc.
  • We do 38 spins. Every chipper has their own capper they use to pick a number, and we go cheapest to expensive (just so that there’s buildup) sets. Place your capper on a number, and whoever wins that spin wins that set.
So it’s basically just a raffle, but it’s 38 raffles. An afternoon of debauchery. And you just KNOW that some people are going home with nothing for $3k, and some lucky few are likely going home with 2-5 new chip sets.

I do not have a set worthy of this endeavor yet but it sounds like quite an afternoon of gambol.
I wouldn’t actually ever think it would happen, lol even I wouldn’t begin to take that type of undertaking.

I don’t think it would even be that fun, way more fun stuff to do with that type of planning/logistics.

Just another fever dream that’s fun to work through in practice.

Herein lies one of the problems....
Nope. Not difficult at all.

If you’re a difficult person on this, you wouldn’t be on the list of 38.

I have it solved anyways. One main person provides oversight on final sign off of numbers, using a team of two to land on those numbers - those two wouldn’t know owners of each set and instead just blindly what the sets are.

lol this event is more the gambly, social spectrum folks, not the prickly dickish ones.

How much did you play @quintooo for his consulting on this idea?

@quintooo is one of my favorite humans on this planet.

Because I don’t ever have to ask if he’s interested or willing to participate. If I said hey I think they fixed the submersible issues, I got free tickets to go see the ocean floor wanna go? Then we’d both be on the news after our deaths because he’s always down.
