Topper or new felt? (4 Viewers)

Are people using toppers instead of re-felting their tables? Does that make economical sense and how long do they last? Can they be made to certain sizes? I am going to be replacing both felts and foam. Heavy usage. Looking for options.

I was thinking about putting one on my poker table permanently instead of resurfacing with foam and speed felt. We play daily
