Tournament Prize Payout Calculator - No More Arbitrary Payout Structures!!

This Open Source (Excel/Google compatible) spreadsheet calculates poker tournament prizes based on three variables as entered into the yellow cells.

Variables:
1. Buyin amount - this simply determines the size of the tournament pot. Right now, the tool doesn't explicitly account for either add-ons or rebuys that are for a different amount than the original buyin.

2. % Payout - what % of the number of buyins (or, this could be thought of as number of players instead) do you wish to pay...

HiveKueen updated Tournament Prize Payout Calculator with a new update entry:

Tournament Payout Calculator Plus TD autoPrize config file

I've added a Tournament Director autoPrize config file to this resource. The comments at the top indicate the prize reduction factor used and the payout % of (buy-ins + rebuys).

This config file can easily be modified for different prize reduction factors and payout ratios. It can be edited with any simple text editor.

You can find help on how to implement TD autoPrizes on the TD forums by searching for autoPrizes. This is a beautiful feature! I will never use prize templates again...
