Just curious if anyone has either a vintage or reproduction TR King set (200-600 mixed denom’s) that they could potentially see themselves moved out of..

Have an awesome rest of the Thursday, stay safe out there mang!
You my friend are wading into dangerous waters. But I wish you the best of luck on this AMAZING, yet expensive and frustrating journey!!

Yea, I have a set for sale.

Sure thing. How about a Nevada Lodge set? $20k and I'll move out of it. I accept cash. :)

Someone catch me! I feel faint... not for the price (which I by no means have), but for the pure quality and history.

Thank you for sharing! I’m a better man for it.

lol @ unicorn parade. :D

I have three playable mint TRK sets (Jessie Beck's Riverside, Pick Hobson's Riverside, Money Tree), but not posting any pr0n since they aren't currently for sale -- no need to poke at the newbie. :)

Good luck with your search, @Cdsmitck -- TRK sets are out there, but generally not cheap, and rarely for sale. @Rhodeman77's Kings Crown set are great chips at a great price. I'd already have purchased it if I hosted cash games.

Unicorns are magical. Almost, spiritual.

Same for the TRK baby!

Unicorns are hardly to be found, and when sighted are fleeting at best. Those able to find and domesticate them should be considered the purest and luckiest of all chippers. Almost like bodhisattvas. Not sure if I even spelled that right.

It’s not about the price.. it’s about history!

Nostalgia, exclusivity. That’s why everyone is here on PCF, interested in more than the function of a chip - rather than having a 1200 set of Hoyle’s from Walgreens.

I say bring on the Unicorns!

You pretty much nailed it!! You are very wise for a new chipper. Did you spend time over at the blue wall website?

I think @Rhodeman77 set above is offered at a fantastic price.

Good luck!! Sounds like you have the right attitude

Not quite a unicorn (1,850 are still in the wild), and not for sale at this time, but it's hard to resist a pron opportunity (:

@Cdsmitck some of the sets pictured above are the best of the best of the best. But not to be discouraged, smaller sets can be pieced together with some patience and persistence. Below is a little TRK set I’ve been building to have that little piece of history, using some TRK hotstamps to fill gaps for denominations that don’t exist or difficult to obtain.

And for immediate satisfaction, I would absolutely consider @Rhodeman77 ’s King’s Crown Cash set. Amazing set!

Totally gorgeous.

PM if your interested to serious, thanks for the glimpse if not!

These are far prettier than Even my wife!
He is serious. He has a sales add for them :)

You won't find TRK's priced much better than this. Especially in the condition that he is offering. If this price is high, then you should probably venture out of the TRK search. This shit gets silly.

I have a TRK set that I would part with for 10k'ish...

I'm not sure on how many TRK Poseidon chips exist. As far as I know its less than 2k worth of chips. I have just over 1200 of them.

I disagree. As visually appealing as the cpc scrown and large crown chips are. They are nothing like an actual TRK chip. Just my humble opinion.
I have to agree. I was ready to start designing a custom CPC scrown set until Bill sent me samples. They were very light 8.5 ounces.

I totally agree with this. I LOVE my mixed TRK set. By going mixed, I was able to pick the colors that I like best for each denomination.
