I like these, a lot.

Have too many chips and going to focus on leaded THCs.

Planned to use the blues and greys as PH $1s and fracs but could not bring myself to mill them. Got the large crowns before any of these and planned to use those as fracs. Super cool Mapes from 1948!

Leaded:
100x Pick Hobson $25 ($1,000/rack)
178x Pick Hobson Gold Club $5 ($600/rack or $1,000 for all)
200x King's Crown $10 spotted blue ($500/rack, $900 for all)
100x blank spotted grey ($800/rack)

Beautiful chips. I have not yet taken the TRK plunge, but maybe these are the chips for me? Couple of questions.

1. I seem to have read that there are no Pick Hobson $1 chips. Is that correct? None to be found or were never even produced?
2. Would it be a crime against chipper humanity to murder the blue and yellow chips to relabel as Pick Hobson $1s and quarters? This is a genuine question as I would not murder highly desirable chips, but then again, who uses $10s in their sets? And those blues would make a killer $1 "Pick Hobson" chip.
3. How difficult to locate another rack of the $5s?
4. Would you consider selling the rest of the set without the red large crowns? I don't see how they fit in to the set.

JMHO, as I understand (could be wrong), but only the Pick Hobsons and Mapes are honest to God casino chips. The Posiedons were made for a movie, and the Kings Crown's never made it so, while I don't advocate murder, it's not like they are legit antiques (I could be convinced that the Posiedons have some pedigree). The Mapes are amazing, God help me if those get split off (large crown starter debacle)! GLWS.

Answered via PM but here's the short version:

Exactly what I was trying to do! Use the blues/yellows/greys as $1s and fracs! I thought about murdering/hot stamping them but just can't bring myself to do it. I'm a chip lover, not murderer.

$5s are probably the easiest to locate. There is another version that is more plain looking like the $25s.

Possibility to split off the large crown yes.

100% correct, only PH and Mapes are real casino chips. The large crowns are super unique from 1948! Love the sound! I got them along w the $5s and $25s first and planned to use the large crowns as fracs, and then the other chips came along.

I am selling them together because it's all the TRKs I have. But split is possible yes.
