I'm close to pulling the trigger on some TRK's. I'll need to add some fracs to the set. I'm looking for either quarters, fifty center's, or non denominated.

The more affordable the better as I'm spending all my money on the ones, fives, and twenty fives lol.

If you buy all but fracs and want to wait you'd be welcome to use my Reno Fitzgerald quarters or Post 50 cent hot stamps. I know they are hat and cane, but they would work nicely for a temporary thing until you find what you really want. They are both very old school. This would let you get set in play, just an idea...

I Have thought of that. Those fitz quarters are very nice

I would also consider trading one rack of Motor City quarters for a rack of TRK frac's or non denominated chips.

What did ya get???? !!!!

I'm going with the New China Club ones and the Riverside 25's. I the five dollar chip narrowed down to two choices. Eventually I'll replace the Riverside 25's with something. At this time I'm not sure what I would replace it with that would fit into my budget.

I'd like to see this also, if possible.
Bill--I'm going to send you some pictures tonight of some .50 trks, thinking of something else for my set, might work for you

If you still have my cell, just text them to me if its easier.

You NEED the orange Money Tree $5's!! There is no other choice :D

I do like them better. Money doesn't grow on trees. I'm thinking of dropping the 10 x 100 of the list and going with a full two racks of fives. Two racks of orange fives is easily outside of my set budget range

Obviously I don't know how your game plays, but having a bank of $750 in $5's and $1000 in $100's seems like overkill on 100's. For my game less 100's and more $5 would work better for the first couple of rebuys at 100 max. Just my 2 cents.

Buy as many $5s as you can afford. Skip the hundos. I like the red money tree $5s. Underappreciated, in my opinion. If they are cheaper than the orange $5s, all the bettah.

I know the breakdown that I'm looking at is unconventional. I'm trying to fit a playable set within my budget range. 200 x 5 is a lot more expensive then 160 x 5 and 10 x 100. We buy in for 100. We average 7-8 full rebuys a session. I've had up to 14 rebuys. That takes the right mix of players at the table.

I like the red cog money tree five. I just don't like it as much as the orange money tree five. It is about a buck a chip cheaper. Looking at my other sets I have a lavender five, a red five, and a butterscotch five. Adding a set with an orange five only seems to make sense to me :)

I'm going to reflect on this for a day or two and then I'll probably place my order on SUN/MON. I'm sure @Spinettis Gaming is getting tired of answering PM's from me lol. I will give his customer service a top notch rating :)

@detroitdad this auction is ending soon. Could be the start to a awesome rack of quarters.

I don't have the patience for that. I need to get a rack all at once lol. I've got a couple of possibilities pending. I want to wait and see what Stephen (@bonesnjnts ) and @jadillon have available.

I want to keep at least 4k in my bankroll. I know that is overkill for my home games. However I play in 2-4 meet ups a year. A bad meet up can cost me 1k+. That might not be a lot to some folks. It is to me. The most I have ever lost at a meet up was @courage place. That was only 400. @Mr Tree 's meet came close if it wasn't for sitting at the NLHE only table with some of his locals. Hell, at that table I only needed to avoid hands with @TroyMan as he was clearly the best player at the table. @Supahnit was also at the table. We just folded when he bet :)

Not a fan of the riverside fives. I like them. I don't love them lol
Sweet. I love 'em. After I posted ITT that Spinettis has them mint in quantity, I was afraid I was going to have to fight you for them. :D

Good luck with the hunting.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with the orange Money Tree's. I just won't be able to get two full racks yet. Unless I bink the tourney tomorrow (hence why I'm holding off on ordering until SUN :) )
