This is a catch and release.

I purchased these last month from @liftapint. Beautiful chips, but i am releasing back into the wild.....

Mel had cherry picked from a lot of chips to make the set she has/ had. These are the cherrypicked ones.

They were cleaned and lightly oiled i believe.

All the chips are casino used. The $5 and $25 chips are very casino used with rounded edges etc. but are clean with minimal nicks/ flea bites.
The $1s and $100s are the same but not as used. And edges not as rounded.

Breakdown is:

$1 X 100
$5 X 200
$25 X 100
$100 X 100

Asking NOW $1850 Paypal f&f, shipping is included in price. Will be shipped priority with signature required.

Hi

If split , i Would like one barrel of 100$.

Thanks

I am ok with a split if all are spoken for.

The $100s are $6 per chip. That is what i paid.

Pretty set. What makes it so expensive? Rarity? :)

A little bit of that it seams.

The $100s and $1s are not cheap. Given the good condition of them.

Old vegas casino set that hasn't been drilled or cancelled out another way, makes them pretty desirable to some.

I changed the asking price to $1900 shipped.

The Tropicana is an old-school Vegas casino with history dating back to 1957, custom house-mold chips with shaped inlays, one of the nicest $100s ever made, the chips are not canceled (rare for Nevada chip sets), and this set was first introduced in 1972 -- pretty incredible shape for chips that are 45 years old (and were in play for up to 13 years).

Ever seen the wear/condition on Par-A-Dice or Casino Aztar chips after 13+ years of play? There is no comparison.

Last price drop (maybe) to $1850 with shipping included.

Breaking it up:

So based on previous postings prices are as follows

$1s -$490/ rack shipped 1 available. (Sale pending)
$5s -$250/ rack shipped 2 available ( 1 sold pending 1 still available)
$25s -$300/ rack shipped 1 available
$100s $120 / barrel shipping not included (1 barrel sold pending 4 still available)

Willing to sell the $100s by the barrel unless a buyer shows up for everything.

$100s by the barrel do not include shipping.

Considering some home chips rival these prices I think it's a great deal. These can never be produced again but who knows when/if another run of WTHC's will take place.
Especially if there's some lingering cat hair on the barrels ;)
