Post your Trop Evansville chips!

Maybe a candidate for a $20 relabel. I think these have the other style edges which are slightly rounded though.

I bought this set as a backup for my cash game. I was considering a relabel.

Curious if I can put the label right over the existing label or if I have to deal with removing every old label first.

It definitely adds thickness and could cause spinners or uneven stacks that are prone to spilling.

Removing the label is relatively easy (much easier than murdering inlays from compression molded chips) but either the adhesive on the label was very thick or they actually put extra adhesive because it’s very sticky underneath.

I’ve only removed the label from one chip and had to use Goo Gone to clean up the adhesive from the chip. Fortunately the Goo Gone did not seem to interact with the plastic (no color from the chip came off) nor the metal insert, and Tommy said no problems immersing these kind of chips in water, so you can wipe/wash off the Goo Gone after.

I ended up ordering a ceramic set from BrPro but it was down to them and this set. Even tho I went with the other I think I’m going to scoop a smaller set of these also.

I’ve really enjoyed my low-budget beginner’s set. I love the weight and feel of these chips.

I need to find 10-20 snappers to complete my setup.
