I'm not a fan of "dibs" sales on items that rarely see the light of day so I decided to go this route to assist in them finding their proper homes. This auction will be a bit different than most so please read the terms carefully. If at first glance it seems complex, it's not. It's very simple. The five examples below should clear up any questions. I'm kind of excited to see how this one runs, seems like it could be a good bit of fun
I expect the final price to be at or very close to that of the opening bid... not holding this to inflate the price but to hopefully get the chips to proper homes rather than just to someone who happened to see it first. While it is normally frowned upon I accept and encourage criticism of this format on this particular auction in case it is somehow unfair in a way I've not thought of.
FORMAT:
1- There are four barrels of chips available. The price of your bid is for one barrel but you can bid on as many barrels as you like.
EXAMPLE: A bid stating $100 is a bid of one hundred dollars for one barrel. A bid stating $100x4 is a bid of one hundred dollars on each of the four barrels.
2- The top four bids will win and each winner will pay the price of the LOWEST winning bid.
3- If there is a tie for the lowest winning bid at auctions end the name of each member with the tied bid price will be placed in a raffle for the right to purchase. Multiple bids at that price point will get your name entered into the raffle multiple times.
Example #1:
Joe bids $110x4, James bids $108 -- Joe gets all four barrels at $110 each
Example #2:
Joe bids $110, James bids $108x4, Jay bids $105 -- Joe gets one barrel for $108, James gets three barrels for $108 each.
Example #3:
Joe bids $2000, James bids $1500, Jay bids $800, Jake bids $100 -- Joe, James, Jay and Jake each get one barrel for $100.
Example #4:
Joe bids $200, James bids $125, seven other people bid $105 -- Joe and James each get a barrel for $105, the other seven people have their names put in a raffle with two of them winning the right to buy a barrel for $105.
Example #5:
Joe bids $100x4, James bids $100x3, Jay bids $100x2, Jake bids $100. All four barrels will be raffled off at $100 each. Joe will have his name in the raffle four times, James three times, Jay two times and Jake one time.
RULES:
1. STARTING BID: $100
2. Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $1
3. The Starting Bid of the auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
5. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest four bids at 8pm Eastern on Friday, October 6th will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be 5 min. after the latest bid was posted.

9. Shipping Terms: $7 for one to four barrels in CONUS, International bidders will pay their own shipping
10. Additional International Sale Terms: ONLY bid outside the USA if you are willing to accept ALL shipping risk. I am happy to place whatever declared value and amount of insurance you would like on the package but once the package is out of my hands, my responsibilities end. Period. If this is unacceptable please do not bid.
