Sitting Out
Hello PCF,
I'm not a Paulson snob yet, but I believe I've now started down the path.
There's so much to learn. I appreciate all the advice that has been posted by experienced PCF members.
I have a game at my local social club, about 10 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. We get two tables of pokah playahs each Sunday ($30 tournament followed by .50/1.00 cash). I wanted to take a step up from using the inexpensive dice chips, so I started looking around. There's a lot to see.
So far I've had some good luck, a couple of frustrations and then some unexpected (nostalgic/memorabilia) value added. More on that in another post.

A quick note on one frustration:
I ordered 300 Majestic $1000 denomination chips online. Two days later I get an email "we're low on $1000 Majestic....... we've cancelled your order".
Grrrrrrrr! Don't list it on your vendor sight if you don't have it to sell.
PS - a friend in need:
So I'm still looking for 300 yellow/gold $1000 chips. I may look at the Dunes again, but I'm already over budget.
Anybody storing some old $1000 stacks they'd like to dust off and sell.......
