Two teenaged black females (13 and 15) pre-meditated a carjacking with Taser of an Uber Eats driver

The 66 year old Pakistani immigrant is seen struggling with the girls before the car speeds off and he is dragged along with it

The car flips and crashes, and he is flung into a crumpled heap

****DISTURBING FOOTAGE****

Horrendous.

The victim is just face down and no one is even checking on him? That's alot of people just standing around. WTF.

The last frame shows someone wearing a police jacket just standing there playing with their phone.

Looks like they are a "special police" officer. So they may be private security for a location rather than a "protect and serve" officer. Regardless, it is extremely disturbing that everyone is more concerned with filming the situation, one of the girls yelling about her phone and I don't see a single person looking at or checking on the poor man who was flung.

He's just lying there in a crumpled heap being ignored, absolutely disgusting.

We all have our own opinions, glad you like it. Not my cup of tea, never will be. Not much else I have to say on that

It was 25 seconds between the crash and when the video got to the car wreck, plenty of time for someone to check on the man and determine he was dead.

I can say I'd likely intervene in something like this but I can't be 100% sure how I'd react, nor can anyone else, unless this actually happened to me/them. At the very least recording it helps ensure what occurred is documented and would assist the either the capture or conviction of someone committing a crime.

Very true, easy to say I'd try to help, but it's a split second descion, and I can't be sure. I'd imagine there will be some sleepless nights the for people who witnessed/recorded the incident. Makes we realize in a sense they are victims aswell.

Damn as if working for tips isn't hard enough. poor guy, he really didnt look that worried prior to the disastrous actions of those teenagers. 3 lives totally wasted

It is shocking seeing know one running to help. as a nurse who's worked emergency etc for years I can tell you when people are severely hurt others are often afraid to approach out of fear of doing more harm and or the disturbing visuals involved. Without doing a physical assessment the unfortunate driver appears to be deceased on scene (?traumatic neck injury/head injury suspected). I doubt he could have been helped.

This is a discussion forum.

And this was posted in the off topic area.

People are posting and discussing, so it appears that it is of interest and worthy of discussion.

Maybe avoid the thread if it's of no interest. Thread title is pretty clear about the content.

Gotta love DC.

Edit: that's fucking sad, and disgusting. Wth is wrong with people

Fair, rural Maryland doesn’t do much for me either

Tribalism. Love it.

Here in Canada, I live in the 'fake' capital of the province (Alberta) most hated by all other provinces.

Well, maybe except Quebec. Because everyone hates the French. Then there's BC - bunch of god damn hippies. And no one cares about Saskatchewan or Manitoba or any of the maritime provinces. Oh, and the territories are just barren wastelands.

But yeah, the rest of Canada is usually united in their hate of Alberta. I think the world is united and hates us too with our dirty 'tar' sands.

I 100% support Alberta's oil industry, baffels me how people don't, including our leaders at the federal level.

Don't feel bad though there's 1000s of people who agree with me here in Manitoba, you just don't hear about it. I think you guys have more support than the media portrays.

Lol, it was supposed to be a joke about the ridiculousness of people and their primitive tribalism.

But you'd actually need to know Canadian geography to understand it. Beyond knowing our nation's capital of Toronto.
Was talking about nitty's comment

i didn’t start this with pushing an unsolicited (and wildly incorrect) opinion. But you’re right, it was unsporting of me to punch down on rural Maryland like that

I'm in Edmonton, often referred to as the armpit of Canada. People in Edmonton hate Edmonton. It was - 10C this morning! I'm starting to hate this place. Lol
