We will occasionally play a showdown game called 7 Aces. It is a 7 card stud game with 2’s and all suited connectors in your hand being wild. So 7 of a kind is possible, and 5 of a kind beats a straight flush.
Played 5 card draw deuces wild one night many years ago. Got dealt three aces, discarded two on the draw, got the case ace along with a deuce. Stacked a guy who had a full house. Only time I've ever had 5 of a kind!

Nice try, it’s a stud game, there is no board . I wouldn’t play it as a game with actual betting. But for a flip it is fun. Everyone is calling out what is ahead and what they need to take the lead and scanning everyone’s cards to see if it is out already.
I used to play a dealer's choice game with wild cards allowed. Baseball: 7 stud, 3's and 9's are wild, extra card for a 4. So there were plenty of 5 of a kind hands. Yes, they beat a straight flush.
