Up for trade is an uncirculated rack of Mirage $5s, which might be a 1 of 1 rack. I’m looking for THC $5 options to go with my flamingos. Open to suggestions and/or offers.

My current $.50 & $1s (fracs may change)

For sure. It will definitely require some patience, but my plan is to start off with Tinas and slowly replace them by the real chips as I find offers.
You might be able to put together a rack of 25s, but I don't think a rack of 100s is feasible even if you have the 10k+...

They are really that rare? I was under the impression that there were quite a few chips up for grabs since the casino was just shut down last year.

Even the $5s aren't out there in quantity like that. Even the $1s, aren't out there in racks of 20 or so.

$25s the most I've seen together were 2-3 barrels. Hundreds, maybe a barrel because someone wanted to take one home. Anything about that, only singles...

Hate to be the one to tell you this but when they shut down all the chips were destroyed by Nevada law. Any previously live chips used were carried out by hand and worth at least face value at the time.

@PokerPauly casinos that closed before the late 1980s didn't have to get chips destroyed. Anything after 6/1987 in Regulation 12 of the Nevada Gaming Law, states that, "(e) Destruction or such other disposition of the discontinued chips and tokens as the Chair may approve or require."

Any NCV or No Cash Value chips you can see quantity out there because they don't have any monetary value. Any chip or token that has some sort of value associated with it needs to be destroyed once the casino closes or the chips get switched to one ones.
