Well my interest has grown enough in chips to join this great forum. If any of you could point me in the direction to try and identify these chips it would be much appreciated.

Welcome to PCF. I've seen other denoms from that set but can't remember where they are from. Someone who knows will chime in soon.
 
Thanks Tommy...I'm trying to decide if I should sell what I have and buy cheaper racks of $1 for my home game...or try to complete this set. Hopefully someone can help. :)
 
WOW..that was fast. Thanks for the info! I can't believe my wife let a friend borrow like 8 racks for a home game and they somehow got "lost" lol

Umm I think we as a community HAVE to find these little gems. There are a bunch of Michigan members here that need to be alerted so they can hunt them down.
 
I had a college home game back in the day (2002?) and I bought a ton of these from Nevada Jacks because they were casino grade and well made. We all thought we were Matt Damon..lol. I lent the chips out to my wife's friend who was a dealer trainer at the casino (where I met my wife) and he had them for awhile and then disappeared.

Actually just re-label those $50s at $1s if you don't use them as 50 cent chips.

Not sure what they fetch these days, but if you did sell them I'm sure you'd make enough for a couple of sets.
 
Impossible to find....because you have them all. Tears for the loss of the 20s.

I bought a ton of them to play poker with college friends back in the day.... from Nevada Jacks.

Luckily i still have the core of my set..I just lost about 6-8 racks of the higher denoms. They are floating around in Michigan somewhere. :(
Thanks to Gear, Dwight and some others I have managed to get enough $20s to even out my set. PrOn coming soon!
 
Cool shit man, can't wait to see! Don't start sleepin on the missing racks though we wanna see them too someday!
