EDIT: Decided to open it up and see if I can just pick up a few of these at a time. I have 120. I need 80 more for a full 2nd rack. If you have any quantity of these let me know and let's work something out. THANKS!

Hi Friends! Having so much fun being back in the chipping world! :)

I've almost got my Garden City set complete. Folks around here have been very kind in helping me get this far with it. Only problem is... my single rack of $1 chips are a little lonely. I'm looking for 1 more rack of the Paulson $1 chips pictured. They don't have to match the condition of the rack I have perfectly, but hopefully not too crazy of a difference. I'm open to mixing though. Would love to see what you have that you might be willing to offload to help me complete this and make it very playable for a .25/.50 game over Thanksgiving break!

Thanks in advance!

JB

I looked for months and finally have 2 racks plus a few spares. They were tough to find...especially a full rack. Good luck!
Thanks, @codeman00. Let me know if you see any. I have 111 chips... so I technically only need 89. I just assumed it would be easier to find a rack at a time. But, looks like it might take some time.

I indirectly bought the last 180 from the chip room sale...and waited for a couple of months....a forum member secretly came out of nowhere to sell me the extra 20 to fill out the rack along with some extras to swap out with some that are nicked up. It was kind of magical...in a chipping sort of way. A special thanks to that guy. These GC $1 are perfect for relabeling....and my guess is that most are bought and used for that.

I'll keep an eye out...Good luck in your search.

Wow, you still looking for these? There used to be tons of them for sale. I have 5 of the Paulson $1 that I use in my shuffling stack. They are in varying conditions from round to stands on edge. I could send them to you to get you closer to your second rack. PM me your address if interested. Cheers

My guess is that many went to relabeling fracs projects and are probably locked up forever in those sets. It was a tough chip to find when I looked. I’m glad I only needed about 40 more for my set otherwise I don’t think I would’ve ever found 2 racks of them. I’m wishing you the best of luck in your quest.

Thanks. I’m open to buying them just a few at a time at this point. So if anyone has 1, 7, 23, 42 or any other quantity to spare, I want them!

I was the one who bought the remaing 380 of these that were cherry picked by Josh at the chip exchange. I kept to racks and sent the rest to @codeman00. I’m glad he was able to complete his second rack. Now, let’s work on completing yours(y)

Ugh... I gave away over 40 of these earlier in the year because no one wanted them (n)

They were extras from my Aztar quarter relabels (I bought over 4 racks of them a couple years ago)

Bummer! No worries though. I'm sure some will turn up.

I've spent about $80 getting my first 120 of these... I'm willing to spend $1.50 per chip for the final 80 so that my OCD doesn't ruin me. PM me pics of what you have! Again—I'm buying any quantity... if you have 6 leftover in the corner of a drawer, I'll take them.

I wish I had been around years ago when this set would've taken me a day to finish. :)

Thanks!

4 chips arrived today from @uclaure! Thanks!

That brings the official count to 120. Just 80 more!

Just think, if you sell me 80 more, you’ll never have to see this thread bumped ever again. :)
