Texas trip started with proper BBQ (recommended by
@CraigT78):
Went with the Texas Trinity (brisket, ribs and sausage) with a Texas Twinkie (bacon wrapped jalapeno stuffed with brisket and cheese) on the side and of course, a Jarritos.
As we left, I saw a guy tending the fire and went to thank him for making our lunch. He asked if we wanted to see the pit (with a heavy Spanish accent--good thing my brother was with me). Showed us two huge smokers, one filled with ribs and brisket, and a bunch a raw meat they were preparing to smoke...
We had some time to kill before the Rangers game, so we stopped at Jerry's house to have a look around.
Cotton Bowl winners:
MLB Park #42: Whatever they call they new place in Arlington
These might be the best seats in the house:
Texas sized hot dogs:
The group of gay guys next to us got one, so I asked them if I could take a picture of their huge weiner.
Next day, on to Houston and MLB Park #43, Minute Maid Park.
Pretty good eats
Even the souvenirs are bigger in Texas.
