Hi all,

Just wanted to share the proofs from the incredible J5 for my first custom CPC set. Order was placed in April, but I just finalized the inlay!
This has been in the works for quite some time now (color samples, inlaid shuffle stacks of each mold, etc), and I am very excited!

Short backstory: My first child was born last year, so I wanted this to be bear his name (Van, pronounced like "Vawn"). While he was a wee infant, we would sometimes play some baby lullaby videos for him. For whatever reason each time this video with a stork/heron came on screen, he absolutely lit up, in fact it was the first thing in the world that made him smile. So it's as simple as that: his name and a bird (bird colors match chip base and spots)

T25 - Light Green (Green + Dayglo Peach)
T100 - Black (Dayglo Arc Yellow + Light Blue)
T500 - Lavender (Dayglo Yellow + Dayglo Pink)
T1000 - Canary (Dayglo Green + Green + Dark Green)
T5000 - Dayglo Tiger (Dayglo Peacock + Dark Blue)
T25000 - Imperial Blue (Daylgo Peach + Bright White)
"Bonus Chip" (bounty, rebuy, etc) - Bright white (Dayglo Tiger + Canary + Dayglo Peacock)

I know Green is repeated in the T25 and T1000, but I think it's acceptable given the space between the denoms. Also, Peach is used in the T25 and T25000 (this chip will probably get 0 table time anyway, I just wanted to have it)

Also, I decided to do a 2-sided chip with both orientations of the bird on each face. I'm not sure if this will be annoying irl, but I guess we'll see haha

Two sided is unique but not distracting. Matching the colors on the print to the edges is a nice touch.

I placed the order in April, that is when I was told that production time would be in November-ish. I haven't followed up just yet.

It did not occur to me when placing the order that people would perhaps want samples. I will email David and see if I can add some quantity, if so I will update here or make a sales ad in the classifieds.

The use of the edge spot colors within the bird is absolutely incredible as well. If you're taking interest for sample sets I'd love to get one.
