Found Various Ceramic Samples (1 Viewer)

Hey guys. I’m hoping to buy some different types of ceramics to play around with and see which ones I like. I figured that maybe I could pick them all up here as opposed to ordering from several different sites. I’m really looking for anything, but mainly I’d like to compare chips from the following companies:

• GOCC
• ABC Gifts & Awards
• PGI
• Sun-Fly (hybrids if possible)

If I’ve missed any other large retailers, please let me know. Also, I would be more than happy to rent samples and return them.

FYI, OWPS is out of the game for the time being. They will hopefully be rebooted soon by gene at ABC Gifts and Awards. I believe that PGI is out too.

I could loan you the following...just don't know how bad shipping will be yet.

GOCC
- Royal Yak 10k chips made in November (w/o GoGuard)
- GoGuard samples (from last Spring)

ABC
- Jubilee sample...not sure how old, so not sure how it compares to more recent chips

SunFly
- Quicksilver-75's set (https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/samples-silver-club-sunfly-hybrids.25060/). May be their "usual" blank. I only have the Boardwalk's in 39mm, and I think the 43mm BW chips used a blank with a smaller label area.
- I have a bunch of samples of the generic non-hybrid chips. I probably have a duplicate of at least one of them...
- Lucid Diamond from Apollonchips.com, which feel different from other Sun-fly chips to me. I know I have a spare sample set of those...

If you can get them from someone in the States, that would be cheaper from a shipping point of view. If you can't get them, send me a PM and we'll work something out.

No worries. Shouldn’t be a problem to get some of the sun fly hybrid samples. They’re pretty popular right now, and for good reason. They look and feel fantastic and shuffle well straight out of the box.

How do you feel they are better than their 39mm counterparts? I’ve never handled hybrids before, so I’m just curious.

There are two different 43mm "blanks". One has a larger label, akin to RHC Paulson chips, and one has the same size label as the 39mm chips, more similar to a THC Paulson. Mine are all the smaller sized labels. I find the 39mm chips to be a little more slippery and to sound a little more "clinky". The 43mm with smaller label makes for a larger surface area to display the chip art, makes the chips less slippery, stack better, and sound much better...to me anyway.
