Well we arrived here roughly @ 8:30am after watching an incredible Mumford and Sons show the night before - running on 3hrs sleep I knew the day was going to be long but the butterflys were going to get the day off to a good start ---



CH] From there we hit the tables - started off playing a very week 1/2 game at Planet Hollywood max 300 buy in - a buddy is staying there so we chose to ease ourselves in to the first session in a relaxed vibe



Then a quick double up

Then we decided to head to the RIO as PH was not the reason we came to play ( ha) as a buddy noted " you few 2600 hundred miles to play a 1/2 game @ PH - man up - so we felt a tad sheepish and did just that

Once at the Rio - i realized there is a heaven on earth and decided i was never leaving


Once I saw the final table set up - you get goosebumps for sure - so after successfully winning 3k in lammers - the $1500 monster stack was now a freeroll -

Could not be happier withe result so the cash game began - 2/5

It progressed upward the remainder of the evening - overall a killer day 1

The grey chips are the lammers for those not familiar --- The night ended with a great result and now day 2 begins with Monster Stack - more to follow -

^^^^this. I never even thought about the fact I haven't played cash at the Rio until you posted those. I always play in the tournaments then head somewhere like Aria.

Not a fan of those tourney chips, but man those 5's are pretty. run good man, thanks for the TR!

The $5s are the only nice chips they have. The $25s are ugly and the $100 looks like it's from the 80s.

Update : cashed in 648th - $3108 payout - was getting 3 betted light and never fought back - a little aggravated at that but the silver lining was busting Jamie Gold just after he ordered dinner - sits down to AQ in big blind - he was short stacked - ran into my pocket QQ -- after busting I went to blow off steam on the 2/5 and bought in for $500 and I will let the pics explain the rest -

Next stop , Venetian Deep Stack @noon $1000 entry 1 mill GTD - lets see if we can continue to build the chip collection fund !! Thanks to all that have been railing me !! Hope for more stories tommorrow !! Good night

Yeah sorry about the photo upload issues. I have asked Tommy to fix these (poor guy) and I feel sheepish not doing it right the first time. I was taking pics on the fly so sorry but the joke was funny as hell. Knocked out a few work emails and now ready to slay some more dragons today. Again thanks for all the support . Awesome. I am also picking up a few racks of ones from various casinos that I will either keep or post for sale. Paris Cosmo, and Venetian will be the picks unless I get requests....I figure these will go nicely in a mixed set down the line .... we will see..... take care

Nice running all around Deezer. Cashing in both cash and tourney during pokerpalooza must be a fantastic feeling. Busting Jaime to boot is just icing. Good runs!
