Not Mine Venerati Ceramic ??? (1 Viewer)

Venerati chips for 25c each with a free birdcage is a great deal. Make sure the seller knows how to ship, or the case won't make it intact.

Decent breakdown for a high-denom tourney set, too:

200 x T500
160 x T1000
120 x T5000
80 x T25K
40 x T100K

Good for a variety of breakdowns, including 20 players with T100K stacks or up to 16 players with T350K stacks. Easy to add on if more chips are required.

The breakdown works denom-wise. Colorwise, there are too many similar colors there for my liking. Good price for great chips though.

I recently received an order of Veneratis. I think they are a great chip at the price they are offered new. If you have even a minor interest I would recommend jumping on this. I don't see you having an issue getting your money back in the future should you decide to sell.

I think new they are .39 per chip. I like them. The colors are similar, even in the cash denoms. When we use them we are usually playing .25/.25 with only .25, 1, and 5's in play so it isn't too bad.

It's a fair price, but the color similarities are making me double back and say no. But a good price for 600 tourney chips and a case.

I've also noticed that various denominations of these are no longer available at sidepot if that helps at all.

I had a large tourney set (1000+ chips) consisting of T25, T100, T500, T1000, T5000, T25000, and T100,000 denominations. No color issues whatsoever - those rack pics make them look closer in color than they actually are. The T500 chips are a vibrant lavender, and the T25K chips are a dark red -- not an issue in stacks or pots. Plus the denominations stand out nicely:

anyone has experience between Venerati and Archetype ceramics?

Yes. I never cared for the mandatory Chipco white ring in general, and find the Archetype artwork cluttered and distracting. Many of the tournament color combos do not work well together, imo.

I dug out my sample set to see. I still say the $500 and the $25k are a little too close for my liking. But it also reminded me how much I like the look and feel of these chips. I may have to grab a set of these sometime, if I see the denominations I'm looking for go on sale.

Fwiw, none of my blind structures have T500 and T25K chips in play at the same time. T25K chips are usually introduced to color-up the T500s.

My biggest beef with the set is the muddy brown T5000 chip, which looks even worse when compared to the other vibrant tourney colors (especially the orange T1000).

i love the feel of ceramic chips, but a couple of sample sets I bought all started to fade badly. Those Veneratis still look pretty good, color wise.
