I spent a good portion of my younger days in the Traverse City, Manistee, and Charlevoix areas. Lots of time in/on/around Torch Lake, Bear Lake, and Marquette State Forest. Married my first wife in Kalkaska. Beautiful area of the country...... just takes forever to get there.
