Anyone looking to unload a tournament set?

Was thinking of buying the SHOWDOWN poker chips from apache - something for a T10,000 or T20,000 with just 8-12 people (buy ins)

Before I pull the trigger --- anyone looking to sell 400 or 500 chips i can use for a tournament?

I suppose I should also state - I am looking to spend no more than $140 or less. The ones I am looking at new on apache are .16 each - so $80 for 500 ( + shipping)

I am looking to be in this price range - or a little more for better chips.

But not looking to spend 200+ for amazing chips. ball'n on a budget over here --- help me out ! who is looking to upgrade their tourney set!?!!

agreed! but about $500 over budget. I realize most people on this site have some awesome chips and can spend that much - but I dont have the $$$ to spend that right now - looking for more of a "starter" set if you will.

I have a cash set from apace - the "monaco club" slugs - and I am happy enough with those for now for the cash game. That is why I was thinking show downs for tournament.

Might be tough to find a used chip set with a breakdown that totally fits your needs. Given your budget, have you considered building your own set?

yea - I have my eye on the SHOWDOWN chips - which i will prob end up going with. can get 500 chips for around $95 shipped - which is fine. Figured before I pull the trigger - see if anyone on here is selling anything similar.

You may just want to consider Majestic, they look better for a CC, and you dont have to deal with those heavy coin inlays

These are my favorite chips right now (that i could afford) - i love the MAJESTICS - my ideal would be someone selling some used ones that i could afford. 500 chips would cost me around $200 - and that is over my budget right now.

If I had to stay on a budget I don't know if I would bother torturing myself browsing this site at all!

Whatever you do, don't ever buy any chip samples that might be better than the set you end up with and you might be ok!
