Is that a real rock ?
Yes, I've been around HPT and Keens--->PMC and CT. I have other time sinks now. @detroitdad has been around here for awhile and I joined awhile ago on an invite from him but didn't stay active. I came back to give Dr. Lecterr some comments on his Rounders artwork, and have just been skimming some of the posts here and there.Wedge - do I know you from PMC?
Wrong. That guy is a total douchebag.
Hockey keeping you busy?
Currently? No. Lacrosse. And baseball. And piano lessons.

Hey bud, missing a solid game tonight. 6 for a pre game dinner, 8 for cards. I get it. If I had been into poker when my kids were younger you wouldn't have seen me very often either. It was only baseball/basketball for me.
I think Jake is seriously considering going back to school in the fall and getting his undergraduate degree. He was accepted as a "work study"??? They will pay for have of the degree if he chooses to do it. He is going to wait until he takes Actuary exam #1 (which he has said is one of the hardest things he has ever studied for). That says a lot coming from him.
Trey has a baseball game (in the rain and 40* weather) and Ace has an overnight birthday party tonight... But I have to get Ace at 10:30pm because we have to be in AA tomorrow morning at 6am... Maybe I should play, have the wife bring him to your house after 1030 and we can both crash on your couch... Quicker to AA in the morning. 'Cept I gotta grab Deuce too. Oh yeah, and Trey has a doubleheader tomorrow morning that starts at 8am (arrive by 7am). FML.
See, @links_slayer - I was right!Kids are -EV for time at the felt.
If he passes the first exam I think he will put the Masters degree on hold. Like I told him. Your only 20, and your debt free from school. Take your time.
He is only young and unencumbered for a short time, tho. Its alot harder to go back if he doesn't continue on. You should encourage him to enroll in his Masters in the Fall, IMO. He'll be glad, I think.
I took 6 years off then went back to get a doctorate. Finished that and started a Masters. I didn't finish the Masters degree because of work. Pretty sure I'll never finish it now. But going back at age 28 was alot harder than continuing on when I was 22.
