Recent classified listing had me wondering what the most number of times someone has reacquired the same rack of chips after letting them go.

For me I’m only at 1 with some Casablanca $5s - but I just sold them again so maybe I can be at 2 repurchases soon.

For those that answer the poll, also comment the name of the chips, so we know what the most regretted chips are to sell!

I bought and sold several quantity batches multiple times.

Bought a lot of samples, sold them after figuring out what I liked then later rebought one of the same samples because I didn't remember. Turns out there was a reason I sold them. Didn't like them. Kept them tho to remind me lol.

Sold my Oak Trees and bought them back, and then sold them back to the same person, who then sold them again.

I also sold an HSI set, and then bought another one back.

I purchased 4 racks of Dom $1s but only need 2, so I traded the extra 2 racks, but then I just can’t resist re-acquiring them whenever the opportunity to do so arises, but after a while I trade them again lol.

I think I've done it 6 times

Bally's $5, Dunes $5, CDI $25, $100 & $500, Tiger 43mm Blaze Claws.

Just once each time? Not sure what I'm suppose to vote lol.

I’ve bought Cleveland Horseshoe (local casino) sets 3 times and sold them all. I just don’t like used casino chips very much.

What makes you keep buying them back? The hope that you will feel differently?

Not the exact chips/sets but I’ve bought and sold and bought and sold a few sets over the years.
Vineyard (have again)
Grand Casino Biloxi
Mark Twain
Caesar’s Palace at Sea (have again)

Too many individual racks...

Sets:
PNYs (4x)
Samurais (3x)
Foxwoods (2x)
Solids (4-5x)
HSI (3x)
Poseidon (3x)
Vineyards (4x)
I’m always buying high and selling low. I would have no money with this track record. I hope you get back what you paid each time at least!

nope...i coined the term flipflopper...when you buy high and sell low..then buy even higher. I've done this with every set...actually some of the sets i bought again were the same exact set i sold to someone.. I wanted them back and offered more than they paid. Sometimes before even shipping the set to them Lol

Pretty much. Being the first Cleveland casino and using them a lot made we want them. But they were at the bottom of the list of sets I wanted to use every game. Plus I helped a couple people around here get a set as well when they first came out. So they aren’t as special/unique then.

Sold and repurchased two racks of the OG MGM Detroit quarters. That's it as far as I can remember.
