I am going to oil a couple and see if they come back to life. Anyone know what a set like this is worth?

Chip breakdown.

Black 25
Green 50
Purple 75
Red 75
Caramel 125

350 chips total.

I think $1.25-$1.50 per chip wouldn't be unreasonable.

I was thinking a buck a chip for Paulson solid hotstamp. But $1.25 to $1.50 wouldn't be out of the question...

The numbers aren't really playable as a set... That hurts the value.

Might be worth more to Martina Navratilova or Mickey Nussbaum than to a random MN resident?

You’re right. I’m hoping for the random SK chips to pop up, but would probably pass on any MD chips.

So those are real chips.

Very cool.
I'm guessing they're authentic casino jetons (I believe that's what these are called), but I was just reading the words on them. I don't know what either of those places are.

One last thing. Anyone know what or where these chips are from?

The societies des Bain’s de men is from the big casino in Monte Carlo.
The casino does Juan les pins is from Antibes, France, which is about 60 miles from Monaco.

So I have been cleaning these up and the seem heavy. Is that unusual.

There is a clear difference in these and my Cancun’s.

Is there anything on the chip that would signify they are different?

If they're older (I'm guessing from my limited knowledge, but pre-'90 or so?), they could be leaded.

Leaded means weighted I assume.
It means some sort of lead 'powder' was mixed in with the clay to give it more weight. (It's not a metal slug inside the chips, like cheap plastic dice chips have.)

That’s cool. Thanks for the info.
